Got some comment from those who went by coach to durian excursion ... first they bring the lousy ones out and in batches and all the yao gui tourist just whack them all with their kiasu thinking. Close to the end, when everyone is nearly full, then they take out some good ones, those who actually still can eat, also got no more time left to do so.

 

Hope that this plantation from this 3rd annual trip don't apply the same business strategy.

Kiasu begets kiasu. Then again, pay peanuts, get monkeys. We might organise another one where we go Geylang pay $10 per durian, can choose all we want. It will be called the 1DTO "confirm can eat" Geylang Durian Trip.

 

Of course, we hope they don't pull such a stunt on us too. Thanks again for your note.

REMINDER:

21 slots have not been paid for yet. If the slots are not paid by 2359H this Saturday, they will be moved to bottom of waiting list. And the names in the waiting list will be bumped up, according to positions in waiting list. Waiting list will also be closed this Sat 2359.

 

1 week allowance will be given for bumped up names to pay up, following which, the same cycle will repeat until all 50 slots are paid for.

 

And as always, 1st post will be updated accordingly with details.
