having this prob wit ma xr4...currently the pipe emit ALOT of WHITE SMOKE when opening throttle...is it the prob with the piston...is there any other possible scenario?

to my knowledge.. if 4-stroke bikes r producin white smoke.. it meanz bad newz.. time to overhaul..

your pipe might not be carbonised? my fren's wr200 emits white smoke too and he says its because his pipe is not carbonised. can carbonise at auntie's for 60 if im not wrong.

There's no better solution than to go down to a decent dirtbikeshop and have it diagnosed rather than living in worry every nite.

 

It can be your piston rings, your engine oil, carbon or simply be water.

 

Go and have it checked. Don't want to do first because of cost, nevermind. At least you know the reason and its FOC.
