Speeding?

Hi bros & Sis posting behalf for my fren, last nite around 9.50pm i was travelling along PIE near to toa payoh bridge... as my car overtake on the right side of the lane i saw a "blue flash light"directly pointing above me and that was from the bridge... and when i look at my meter it was 100km/h So is this mean that i have got a speed trap laser from the tp above on the bridge??? Thanks....

Ya 100km/hr shd be alright if the limit is 90km/hr.. Sometimes we'll get paranoid with all these once in a blue moon...

Sorry, the stretch along that PIE expressway the other side of the road is jalan toa payoh which is near toa payoh town garden but the expressway is 80km/h....

That stretch speed limit is 80km/h only, pls be aware.

AND TP is often seen at the overhead bridge.

sorry to burst ur bubbles guys, if exceed by 1-2km/h, they MAY close 1 eye, not by 10km/h. it's a confirm catch.

un-maned devices r not perfect, that's why there're a rumour of 10km/h allowance, but not human, even if TP sees u riding dangerously, he may double penalty even if u exceed by 1km/h.

Mandai road speed limit is 70km/hr.

To get caught at 147km/hr, exceeding at twice the speed limit, what excuses or leniency plea can there be frankly?

To be very frank, you should start looking for buyer who is willing to take over your bike.

 

TP don't clock you at traffic lights, He must be crazy to go at that speed near the junction. He must have captured your speed way back. And if you say speed camera, thats impossible, i've yet to see a mobile speed camera near traffic lights.

fyi traffic light cam can capture speed, there's 2 photo taken, by comparing the distance n time taken in the 2 photo, ur speed at that point of time is there. hard proof facts u can't deny.

qn is were u caught by the traffic cam or tp with a gun?

No they can't. 2 pictures are taken to show that you actually beat the lights. If you manage to stop even after the first photo was taken and the other camera did not activate, fine won't be issued.

that is a hot spot with the tp, 50/50 chance u might not get anything if u do not hear from them in 2-3wks.

I mean traffic lights camera are not for capturing speed. They do not implement that. Have you ever heard of people beating traffic lights and also getting fined for speeding at the junction?

pls dont get the wrong idea of 2 sensor got 2 pic, only the 2nd sensor is trigged will the cam take 2 pic. if only the 1st sensor is trigged, cam will not take pic.

How stuffs work might not apply to all cameras. Ok maybe you are correct. From my understanding, it takes both pictures when each sensor is activated.

 

but still, it is impossible to for the driver to be charged for speeding.

is it true that if u go very slow pass a red light then cam wont flash?happen to me twice,but no flash.
