such a big turnout for today... a very warm welcome to our new friend man simei for taking his time to mingle with us. Total kopi money was $34.20.. haha..

total attendance = 11 (9bb + 1 ST11 + 1Gixxer)

 

For those reading updates abt the trip. Just a slight info.

Date is confirmed 16 and 17 OCT. 2D/1N Trip..

Will move off early in the morning ard 6am on 16 OCT and will be back by 6pm on 17 Oct.

 

As suggested, we estimated the budget to be no less than S$300 for each person inc of lodgings, makan and petrol. But of coz, der are other misc exp involved. The idea behind this trip is to enjoy the ride and have some "family-bonding" session. Recommended to be a single's only trip but if you have pillion, do let us know as the itenary is quite demanding. Will post the final itenaries once everything has been finalised and approved by IC and CC.

How much oil do u have in per forks? 500 ml in each fork will not work on aftermarket springs. I running on 550ml wt15 Ohlins fork oil (its too harsh for normal day riding) and Ohlins springs. Hyper-pro springs works on the same concept like the original BB springs. Its progressive, as in it has got smaller coils at the bottom and bigger coils on the top, enabling the fork to absorb minor uneven ground shocks, thus giving u a better comfy ride. But it's definetly much stiffer than the original ones. I had the same setup like u on my the other Busa, and I think u make the perfect choice since u tour so often. Hyper-pro is much affordable, high level of performance, and yet the comfort is still there.

 

Traction dynamics is a killer lar bro. Luckily Joshua never ask u change Penske... lolx! That one will tear a big lobang in ur pocket... Someone has actually tried using VFRs parts for the front before, according to MengTong, but no one knows wat's the outcome of it. This is a really interesting experiment.

 

The reason i changed the hyperpro is due to the harsh linear spring on the stock shock...Now my ride feels better on trunk malaysia roads and NSHW...No more backache...ekkek!!

 

However i found out the fork oil that comes with the hyperpro kits is abit thin for a person like me as the fork dives heavily underhard braking causing the rear to lose traction abit. Maybe 10wt would be nice. Now next payday got new project to do...Try to install a 2002 VFR preload fork caps...

 

Can give the traxxion dynamics a long long kiss...unless got a few k's drop from the sky...ekekek!!!..
