Just to inform you our monthly gathering is every Last Friday of Each month.

 

Meeting place: KTM Railway Station Along Keppel Road

Time: 2100 hrs onwards

Attire: Bird Polo Tees

Date: 28/10/05

 

Be there or Be square.

21km/l... hmmm... maybe long distance travelling at nsh @140km/h (best achieved is 20km/l)

in sgp... no hope.. 16-17km/l is veri good liao

if u are worried abt petrol cost then i would advise u against the xx

else, how are u going to tahan more expensive costs like insurance

fren, my 1st year insurance $950, 2nd year drop to $359

 

it pays to be an antique and riding a new bike haha

I think it would be wise to get a 2nd hand BB. I bought 1st hand too and here are my views

 

1. 1st hand depreciate a lot, plus insurance is very high even in the 2nd year if your age

 

2. My coil burnt in the 10th month at abt 20k mileage .... I'm not saying BB is not a sturdy bike, but when u r suay anything could happen, even when bike is brand new.

 

3. Bike production got Boon Siew unlimited mileage warranty for 1 year... I had a very very very bad experience with Boon Siew about my burnt coil... so now I always think twice when sales tell me a bike comes with warranty lor. Join us for kopi on Friday 9pm KTM and I can share with you more

 

4. I dropped my bike 2 weeks into riding cos BB is darn heavy. If u are not used to the weight, chances are that you will drop it. it will be a very heart wrenching experience to see the brand new paintwork go to waste and the mirrors damaged

 

5. With the new fazer1 looking so fine and listening to that No-Good-Riszuan talk about FJR, my fingers also damn itchy, thinking of changing bike lor. This is something to think about

not advisable to do hard run in for your brand new big bikes...

ho ho... thanks for e concern... btw i nv find high fuel consumption a prob, but it'd b a plus point if its low... furthermore, if one is ready to get a 'dua gu' tink he'l b more prepared to pay for it le, if not dun tink wil even wana get blackbird ma rite? btw i'm comfortable with e high cost for its maintainance... so no worries bro... hope to join u guys real soon...
