Yes, self DIY, solder connecting pins and 330 Ohm resistor, removed the O2 sensor and plugged the hole in the exhaust collector. Now, testing it. Fingers crossed, hope it works.

Next, the pair valve and see if there's any EVAP to remove. Many more to go.

From what i know the pair solenoid gets feedback from the o2 sensor to operate..once the 330ohms resistor is in,the pair solenoid just off(blocking air from airbox from entering the flapper valve)..but its good practice to block the hoses as an insurace..

Contact @Tachnicolour at PMO section. He does a great job in restoring that sun damaged screen. Ask him bout the stealth mode too!

Guys, so far so good. Did a short test trip to Batu Pahat. No FI warning lights. Getting mileage of about 13km to 14km per litre. Smooth throttle from low rev. Keeping my fingers crossed. Next will be the pair valve removal.

May i ask the seniors here, what tyre pressures are you guys running? With pillion or/and with what kinds of loads?

I am interested to get a blackbird.

98 carb model price is tempting hence I have spare cash for servicing and repair.

99 FI model has significant changes made by Honda over the 96-98

01-07 minor changes almost the same, but the price is quite significant. $10k and above
