Thanks sanasakai11, friendly specking I only start the engine check the exterior of bike looks / sound ok to me,

cant test ride dunno how the engine works. but they will check the bike & replace necessary parts if any before

handover to me...standard market practice la!!

 

Ya btw,, if the FI got issue will the blinking start when we start the bike.. or cant tell unless we ride the bike..?

To check FI working or not.

Put on main stand insert key

Turn on but don't start engine

Once you turn the FI will appear for a moment and then the FI light will off.

If this happen it's normal.

If not, the shop might be cheating you by removing the bulb or disconnect the wire. Ask the technician..

 

If the first instructions does not pass don't bother to read the rest.

 

NEXT

repeat the same thing only this time before turn on the key switch you put down the side stand while on main stand. If there's no blinking it means that it MAYBE be OK.

 

 

 

 

NEXT

Ask what's the warranty like. Test run the engine, ride the bike try to ride up to 120km/h and above. This to test any funny sound or overheat issue and also to see the FI light will appear or not.

Temperature should not heat above 123 deg. And fan must be turn at 103 deg above.

Ive no issues with e bike after a month, and hopefully none, and hitting 260km/hr a couple of times ;-)

Only recently my coolant hose leaks and dats a wear and tear thing for a more den 10yrs old super stock bike.

U might nid to get ur LCD repaired as in my case.

Hi bro salem,

my friend giving me his BB. COE just renew, so it will last till 29/feb 2024.

he told me that his LCD km/hr will show 0km/hr when he is riding at times(bike still running, engine did not get cut off).. he told me to change wire harness and rear shock. rear shock abit soft. what i am worried about is the amount of damage $$.. and i dun want to get carrot by bike shop. thanks to all bros who respond to my post... now i just need to pass my class 2 first.. i own the bike without license yet.

Front wire harness not ex la think ah lai ther gt second hand one ... If u wan the main harness I have la from my bike thought my wire spoil so change new one but in the end it's Workin lol

Hi All,

Took our first road trip to Port Dickson. Wanted to share the niggles and get some advice.

Dennis - you have Convertibars, right? How do you like them? I'm using Gilles Variobars; the ergonomics still aren't quite right for me. I still like a bit higher and further back so I can sit a bit more upright.

You have an MRA screen too, right? How does that work for you? The wind blast was a real pain. On my Triumph I could easily duck below the blast. It was almost weird cuz the wind would go silent and all you'd hear is the sound of the engine, which was pretty cool. Can't ride like that always, but the moral of the story is that the wind protection was great. With the - and I think I have a bubble? - the wind blast is just too much in my face and I get a lot of buffeting.

 

Heat - the bike is really really hot. Like, first degree burn through my pants on my left ankle just above my ankle boot hot. I had to stop and get a bandana for my ankle. Graysnail - you mentioned new pipes could cool me down into the low 90's? Which pipe was that? Any way to get them without Motor World (not impressed with their work)?

The Melboy seat is GREAT. Once I can get the ergos right, it'll be awesome.

The top box definitely adds some instability. I wasn't really comfortable going much above 170 kph, although the wind buffeting might have played a role there too. I had it up to 207, but it was uncomfortable fully loaded with top and side boxes + pillion.

That said, it's hard to imagine touring without the full complement of boxes. But then we don't exactly travel light...

I'm not sure I could keep up with everyone cruising at 180 up to Genting - at least not until I fix these niggles. I probably averaged 145 or so, and stopped twice between Port Dickson and JB. I'd like to work out the kinks, then try another short-distance trip and see first.

I'm wondering too if I'm less comfortable not just because of the bike, but because the last touring I did was 12 years ago. I was a lot younger then!!
