I finally got on the saddle again after more than 1.5 decade and am glad to finally own my long time dream bike...a Blackbird! Any maintenance tips for the new bird?

 

Anyway, anyone know how to resolve the speedo and tacho gauges not moving?...Everything else is working.

 

I suspect its the 3 months of rain and shine at the shop where it was left to sell. I wished I knew about it sooner to take over from this bro of a bro.

PR4 is the latest update after PR3, so shud be gd.

And congrats on ur purchase of ur bb PC2tube. For ur prob, best go Planet or Alai to rectify, most like ur front harness is faulty.

besides ytz12 yuasa , what other batteries is cheaper for BB? est price? can we just buy the batteries from the bike shop and install ourself?

Beside YTZ12, u also can use YTX12BS. Ard $60 depend on which shop u go. Easy to install. Put acid and wait 1 hr for acid to charge the electroplate den install.

Try ahboy for cheap battery, normally it last for 2 yrs
