front and back tyre is same at 290 (with or without pillion), although personally I pump 295 when pillioning

 

113 degrees celsius i feel is a little too high although the rest of the temperatures you reported look normal. My maximum on a hot day could reach 106 degrees.

 

May I know what type of coolant you are using? I feel that coolant such as castrol radicool is harder to heat up, but once heated is harder to cool down.

 

Alternatively, coolant such as Engine Ice/Maxima Cool-Aide is faster to heat up, but cools faster when on the go. So perhaps you should monitor the situation.

 

Should you require a coolant flush, K & T is charging $25 for a coolant flush including replacement with Maxima Cool-Aide (i'm currently using this coolant )

thanks for the info. No money plus fuel so expensive... be crazy to "upgrade". Recently I also become ride in s'pore biker liaoz, feel like downgrade to cub kia haha

Mine is about 103 on a hot day ... drops to 90 plus at night ... after flushing with Maxima at Racewerks recently

oreadie spent amost $600, time , strength goin 2 d motorshop...haiz juz sway bird also change 2 chicken *BlackChicken*

 

c anybody cn help mi wit d problemz around here...

is there anyway to get a certain spares/parts from Honda like (blackbird headlight assy) from online rather than from Boon siew?

 

cos he had to wait very long for boon siew to ship in his headlight assy. He was wondering if getting it online and delivered thru express/air delivery is possible?

you can get it online.....

also there is so many shops you can buy those honda parts from....

just ask the mechanic then they can order ot help you get it if there is stock in singapore....

handling bar bearing for $90

rear brake disc for $230, brake padz for $20

 

hum.. good har the service... n price quite reasonable loh

but i tink he forget 2 do the tyre balancing 4 mi....lye 2 seek u al old bird opinion, is tre balancing important?

 

k & T at Ubi.... hum cn try but mi nw quite leong oreadie wen i got enuff $$$

my fren tried FJT and all the shops u mention but i guess its only the same shipment that coming to singapore and from there.. parts are distributed to all the shops. its likea mass-order.. all shop combine their orders then shipped.. cos cheaper

 

my fren was hoping to get the parts direct.. faster whitout having to wait for the shipment

wads the "FI" light for may i ask? sometimes when turn on ignition, after all the lights go off (except for the neutral and oil light) the "FI" light stays on for 1 or 2 seconds. yday at customs, after all the lights go off, didn't notice the FI light still on, then i started the bike, the ignition sound kinda like choke kind of feeling. or rather, like kena cut off and start like that, machiam retarded... can someone enlighten me? is this a serious problem? wads the FI light for? thanks!

other than that... when the engine is running (idle or on the move) the FI light doesn't show at all... thanks guys, pls help...

TOT the light shows the sync-ing of FI . unless it keeps on lighting up when travelling.....(means big problem) .. normally after moments of turning the key will off liao... So ..... its ok
