Pros:

You needn't worry about a seize due to the oil pump being faulty.

You can run any ratio of 2T:Petrol you want.

Cons:

Personally, I find it troublesome to measure out the amount of 2T you mix with the petrol. A good ratio is 1:30 or 1:33. Too little 2T and you could seize the engine. Too much and you'll lean out the mixture and also end up with a seized engine.

You've got to remember to shake the bike before riding it to get the petrol and 2T mixed too.

In my opinion, don't run premix unless you're using it on a track. The 2T pump is a lot easier to manage on a day to day basis.

What do you mean by external powervalve setup? That the valve is controlled by a electronic brain and opens when a solenoid pulls it open?

yup2...Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS)

cool huh...

black box below the tank reacts when you rev up to a certain rpm, the cable connected to both the black box and side valve moves, thus the valve shaft rotates and open up the after combustion exit, and therefore making the exhaust flow bigger..and last but not least, u FLY..

P.R.E.M.I.X = L.E.C.E.H

always saw 'premixers' at petrol station counting using their fingers after pumping petrol.

hahaha,..wen i first saw the action, i tot they calculating their budget on spending petrol,..until my friend who rode scramble told me what ACTUALLY they are doing.

I see, so it's basically the same thing as Aprilia's RAVE unit.

Ditto-

Street racer-Premix

Even with 2T pump, the 2T itself is already a hassle so minimise if can.

haha very funny idea u got bro.. haha

no need to shake so much if using proper premix oil,

if u pour 2t into clear bottle of petrol then u can see that its easily mixed.

anyway best thing using premix is can use Castor Based 2t..

have u every tried it.. then u'll know the difference. its better than any full synthethic IMO. and can instantly feel the difference too

Expensive, modern styling, electric start, digital speedo. Opinions will differ so just get what you like OR what you need. Sometimes going with what you like might be detrimental :D

Why never get a KR? :)

Since you're getting 2 stroke, set aside $70 for excessive smoke summon. They saman u once in a while.

Past: RXZ, KR, R1 07

Present : Wave S

How it feels like when you pass TP

TZM maintenance not worth it at all, get the sp, alot more reliable.

people keep say TZM faster, but on the roads, its more of the rider then the bike.

Just stay out of the 4stroke range.. they are just sparks with sport bike fairings.. top speed 130km/h? and so damn exp.. crazy

Reliability depends on the owner and the previous owners, not the bike. The thing that usually gives TZM problems is the valve but servicing that valve is simpler than doing SP's, you don't have to remove the top.

if u got cash go for rs125 never r125 or r15

for tzm, use only castor-based or fully syn 2t oil..

never premix it if ur using it on a daily basis
