I personally do not like sound system on any bikes. Reminds me of those karang guni lorries that goes along housing estates with their noise pollution.

I find it very irritating and inconsiderate to broadcast to the whole world your choice of music, good quality music nevermind but ahbeng yio ah yio ah yio techno... sighs. Music should be enjoyed in private using earphones but thats just me and my opinion.

Go ahead bike audio fans... I'm here to be flamed... hahaha....

Oh another thing that is quite overlooked is that the Sym GTS200 has got a kick starter.

Old fashioned? Yes.

Ugly? Maybe

Life saver? YES.

Bike couldn't start due to inactivity for a while as I was riding my PGO Gmax for a while. A couple of good kicks and it came alive and off I went. Till now I've not changed the battery yet but soon lah. I like to try my luck sometimes.

i have to say i've been noticing that there are more and more GTS on the road everyday sure see 1 or 2

talking abt GTS, so GTS versus joyride? which one is better? i know in terms of appearance, joyride really look like transformer. but working condition wise? care to advise?

Posted

GTS and Joyride is having the same power plant.

Joyride being lighter will feel more responsive, but at high speed and long distance u will much prefer the GTS as it is much more stable and comfort.

GTS has a bigger compartment space n a better looking dash, longer wheel base, slighly larger front wheel and bigger petrl tank.

Scoot for L I F E

but even 2.8k for machine price, it is still worth it, provided that there is no batch problem or whatsoever.. nowadays i unsure to buy new stuff, more on the durability.

but what if i call, scully 2.8k include coe, road tax and insurance??? then from next month, sg roads will be full of FBB joyride LOLS

or lucky worse plate FBC liao

if i'm not wrong they are using the same engine. only diff is outlook, GTS is heavier and bulkier thus its more stable joyride on the other hand has a slimmer body thus making it easy to squeeze between vehicles but high speed might not be as stable. Joyride comes with HID if i'm not wrong

I've not look into changing the bulb cos these days too lazy to DIY. My time can be used to do other things more productive.
