I only travel to work and back home with my bike. About 15 mins per trip. Other than that I usually drive because I cannot stand hot and long distance on bike. hurhur...

So servicing is at PSC? Need to make appointment before going down?

just encounter another problem... my bike started vibrating none stop after i switch off the bike. when i check, it was the fan at the air vent that are still running and blowing air out...

Have similiar problem initially, now after clocking 500km+ and more familiar, realise Runner is built for speed and continue travel above 80km/hr. If travel too slow, going up slope and caught in jam, the bike fan will kick in.

As long as temp indicator is in the middle should be alright.

Got my Givi box and ready to rock and roll.

This is my ride now after sprayin black with red rim sticker

Hi swann, the rim stickers you got from where and price? any problem for DIY?

ride safe today,ride again tomorrow

The rim stickers i bought from the auntie shop at lavender street where scramblers like to go for their stickers. the auntie told me the sticker tat i bought is 3M brand. n selling at $8 for 2 rolls. Its pretty more then enuff cos i got left over after doin both wheels.

About DIY, i find it not tat problematic cos got mainstand but need to turn the wheel lots of times as the wheel is small. as long as the sticker went round the rims nicely, it shud be good enuff cos from far, some of the crookedness of the sticker is not tat obvious. oh ya, another thing, mus have patience.

giles... im not swann lah just replying to your question.. helping

with regards to swann rims, yes the shop used spray cans.......which i dont think would be as lasting as some other treatments

correct me if i am wrong ah

Posted

Yup my rims was sprayed by spray can... i dunno how lasting it will be. but for those of u who wants a lasting job, gotta pay more $$. i dunno wat r the process that took place if u wan to have a lasting paint job on the rims. maybe after spraying, they bake the paintjob in the oven?? but for my knowledge, as long as the coat of paint after using spray can is not tat thick, it will be sufficient enough. but like i said, i need the job to be done fast, so i guess i'm happy with the fast job. if the paint starts to peel off, i can always go back to the shop and talk to the boss and respray for me.

--> norman, thanks for helping me to reply the question regardin the wordings on my tires

Bring along the Italian manual and change to english version, update us on your first service and what to look out for. Mine around 550km, will be going in one month time for servicing.
