I oso bought the new Gilera Runner

at the Herren Roadshow.

Cant wait to join the outings.

Anyway i the price is $6,500 + Insurance.

de new has tachometer/rpm meter..wider but shallower underseat compartment..any larger wheels...

nope, they dun bring in tat design.. i ask for it during the road show.. i book red for mine. waiting for the shop to call me to come and collect it. so far no news from them.

After reading the piaggio magazine that intro the new runner and nexus 250.

 

I seems to discover something.

 

Are both of them using the same frame chasis?

 

The butt/tail looks the same. The fork geometry seems to look the same.

When did you order your bike?

 

I think those collecting this weekend are for those who book before the roadshow.

Hi guys,

 

Question... I'm one of those who will be getting the new runner, what are the most important Do's and Don'ts when breaking in? The shop just told me to remain under 80KPH for the first 1000Km.

 

I got the stone color, will be able to ride off from the shop this monday.

 

Anybody know where I could get a compatible wave disc for the front and rear, is there's one available for it already? The bike just looks so sharp and i think a wave disc would definitely add to it's mean and techy look.

 

Sure would like to mingle with fellow 06 runners

I collected my Runner today. They ask me to collect at 6 plus, but i tried my luck to collect at 3 plus.

 

There was someone who wanted to take my bike, and duno wat they are doing allow tat guy to collect. Lucky i was there on time and i get to collect it. That poor guy seem disappointed. Imagine if i were there at 6 plus maybe i cant even collect my bike.

 

Like the bike alot, very comfy and easy to ride. And seriously for a guy standing at 1.8m, I cant put both my foot flat on the ground. The bike is quite high actually.

 

Sad thing is that the stupid manual is not in Eng and I dun understand anything at all.

 

Anything to look out for? I know got to top up coolent as compare to my Phantom last time no nid to do it. What other maintanence to look out for beside the normal servicing?

I'm still waitin to collect my bike Dunno when they gonna call me.. Well, thanks speedcam for the nice little review abt the height of the bike. I'm 1.84, so now i'm less worried abt looking awkward while ridin on it.
