our 'home ground' is at Bugis Village's Brecko Cafe... usually i n some of e runner guys in forum meet up for kopi... hehe!!!

I just started running on my 2 tank of petrol for the Runner.

 

Top up about 6.8 ltrs and total distance travel is 202km. Minus away 1km when I collected the bike, so fuel consumption is roughly gauge to be about +/-29.5 per ltr

Do you face the cold start problem in the morning or it just my bike having this problem?

guys, keep updating on the fc it would be a great help to compare.

My fuel consumption is approximate 22km/l. Pump full tank and left with half tank at 100km distance.

 

Trying to find the english version of the handbook from the web, not successful so far, anyone any luck?

 

Got a funny problem, my tachometer display kept blinking red light when stationery. Do I need to take any action or just ignore it?

My bike clocks 260 km with 1 bar left..( the fuel indicator lighted up )

ya bro take the 260 and divide it with the amount of petrol u top up the next time around , that would be the fc. correct me if i am wrong

 

22km/l is a little too low for my liking

hopefully it would be more to the 29km/l region:smile:

I do face cold start problem too. Find it difficult to start up.

 

You guys got any service booklet or not? Understood there are 3 free servicing but how do we prove when we go down to Piaggio?

 

At least last time when I got my new car I was given a service booklet and a warranty note. And the free belt change there is also no black and white. But the new bike this time round I got nothing at all.

 

Have anyone install the rear box? I was told bracket not here yet but so far duno here or not. AS still owe me the bike cover, rain coat, rear box and road tax.

Ha..ha...ha...my bike went dead on me today less than 160km and 5 days after getting my bike. Unable to start at all. Will call Paggio for help.

bro the 3 free servicing,which i believe is basically the 4t oil change is owed to u by aspoon . u can still approach piaggio for anything as bike is still under warranty

 

did that with my dna actually, fork o ring busted twice the replaced no question asked.

 

your millage would be the indicator to the validity of your warranty.

below 10000km .they do not ask for any warranty papers

warranty must call piaggio they will sent a tow truck to collect bike,FOC

but have to go collect yourself ah.....

 

my advise anything wrong call piaggio first make full use of warranty period

bike shop later as some time they would say this, that part is not covered under the warranty. ask piaggio first

 

last time my dna fork seal leak they said $60 bucks to replace ,not under warranty only engine is,

 

called piaggio they fix for free,went there a few times for other problems after that

aiyoh, like tat sian man. i was hopin to collect the bike with everything installed and given all the free gifts that they promised during the roadshow. ASP sure c*** up big time man. I'm also worried about the free belt change. Do we got to Piaggio for the belt change when the need arises or go back to ASP. And does this free belt change stated anywhere in agreement cos if there's no balck and white, scared kena play out man.. I have yet to collect my bike but since all this c*** up already start to appear, I jus hope ASP clear this mess asap.

dun worry bro..asp not small company..when i got my vxr during de rd tt time,they also said they bao the belt change inculding the 4 oil changes..n they did..if u scared,u can ask them to write a blk n white..dunno if they are willing to though..

Which is more popular in SG and performance between the 2?

Price?

Reliability/availability of parts between the 2?

But ASP told me service from Piaggio leh. Its getting confusing here. ASP also didnt say much things when I collected my bike, just tell me how to start, how to open the storage space and thats it. Like not very professional leh.

 

Anyhow my servicing not due yet, so maybe I am just worried thats all. Hope everything they promised are kept.

Hi!!! i would consider a Gmax cos e price of a 1st hand bike is cheaper than e runner... better fuel consumption... handling should be e same... tink bigger storage space... taiwan bike so parts r not so ex compare to runner (italian bike)... u may ask more qns @ e Gmax thread... btw, i riding a runner...

Hey! Got my new bike yesterday....But guess what the Gilera LOGo infront of the bike is BROKEN!!! ARGHH!! You guys know where can i get a new one..? Just found out that the shop put a double sided tape to keep it intact!! I never notice....crap sia....
