Ya, the lights will not pass the vehicle inspection. For TP wise, I am not so sure. All these while still ok.

TP usually concern more on traffic offenses, if a white bike stop you and his number plate start with "ROV", then "Siao Liao"...

I have changed mine to blue colour. So far no problem on the road. However, you will need to remove it when going for vehicle inspection.

Where can I get the kinda blue bulbs you have?

At most it is just a fine. If money can solve the problem, then it isnt a problem.

Usually the life span of the maintenance free battery last about one year to one year plus. Afterwhich you will need to replace the battery with a fresh pack. There are several ways which you can do to prevent a dead battery. One way is to install a voltmeter to monitor the battery's voltage level or you can standby a fresh pack of battery inside your underseat compartment when it is about time for the battery to be replaced.

I kena twice when the maintenance free battery or so called Dry cell battery died on me scoot. :giddy:

Usually it has a sign when the life spend of the dry cell battery coming to end, for me its kind of difficult to start engine.

But i still using it cos is maintenance free. :cheeky:

do take note of the date u install, like yeoman say, need to change abt 1 year plus.

With every good wishes

I see, thanks Yeoman . I seen some battery revival gadgets, have you tried any of that?

For safety reason, I would not encourage anyone to tamper the battery or use any aftermarket battery products as this may cause the battery to explode.

i reckon the idea of installing the voltmeter but to keep a fresh pack of battery underseat..is it going to be a fully charged one? will the heat underneath affect the batt?

I am refering to the maintenance free aka dry cell battery where you dont pour in the distill water first if you intend to store it in your underseat compartment. As this is just a temporary storage location, there wont be much harm done to the new battery pack. In case of a flat battery, just take the new batt out, pour in the distillated water, wait for half an hour before sealing the top caps and its ready for use. Like what Mark has mentioned earlier, you can notice the signs of a weak battery easily through the battery's age as well as when starting the engine. This helps us to get ready the fresh pack just in time for a batt replacement. No need to be kiasu to prepare it in advance.
