i'm planning to do a normal paintwork for my bike and intend to install a system (speaker) playing from my ipods..so can anyone tell me wats e price for e paint work and a normal system..jux to let u guys know i dont have a box behind my x9 so can i stil install e system ?

Yes. You can drill hole @ the board where you push your key in n the thing pop up. lol! (sorry dunno what that thing call) Normal system depending on how normal you're talking about. Basically what you'll need in a simple system will be a set to speaker and a amplifier. As for paintwork if you're looking for something cheap n your intention was to spray something unique yet nice i would recommend you go JB. Of coz, you'll have to dismantle your bike BY YOURSELF. Well if you're lucky... maybe the mechanic there will know how 2 dismantle it. From what i heard... Spraying on a 1 colour paint will cost you about 400-500RM which is equivalent to 200+SGD. But will be quite a hassle for you.

Erm. Anyone here has their X9 plastic parts being sprayed? What kind of spray will be recommended? And also the paint won't peel off. Coz for the plastic part it'll always gets those ugly spot especially after raining weathers... and to have it spray using silicon or some other spray which will make the plastic color back to the same old color. But the result will only be temporary. I intend to get the plastic parts being sprayed. Best if i can DIY myself. Anyone here has their X9 plastic parts being sprayed?

If you really wanna do it, you can just buy those can spray will do but those shining one.

Normal and a reasonable sound quality will cost you about $300+++

Brother...

Just got my water pump changed. but i think the sound got louder after the change. at first tot it was the exhaust. then only realized it is from the new water pump.

Anybody know why is it so ar? not enough coolent? how to check the coolent level? i heard someone said if pour too full the coolant will overflow when heated up. I also realized my temperature increased faster then last time after changing the new pump. it is louder then my old one. the old one no problem. just i kiasu, so change it yesterday. sigh...

Please help...thanks in advance.

Hey there, i bought a 'old stock but brand new' X9 500. Wondering if got anyone out there with tips and what to look out for. I know its italian and like all other X9s have problems. So what about the 500?

Current rides: Ducati 999 and X9 500 SL

If you wan cheap n normal quality u can go to sim lim tower and look for some... what you'll need is a amp a pair of speaker and a RCA cable... and also some wiring to connect to your battery n so on. if you wan to connect your system you can go to 4th floor carpark and look for ah foo.

there a reset button somewhere @ your bike... if you not sure what to do you can find a mechanic and ask help u do... it's very easy.

lastly i wanna ask x9 is using dry or wet batt ?
