Yes...

In order to use the balancing machine, the rim size must be at least 13" or izzit 14" i cannot remember the exact.

Thus, likely scenario is that only our front wheel can be balanced. :(

 

Bro,

 

Do our SW need to do a wheel balance if handle bar vibrate like mad at 100hr/km and above?? :giddy:

Called my dealer from 9am, the workshop ic picked up the phone only at 9.30am....

 

Clarified that the spring+cap was put back by his mechanic. *phew*

 

Must be i heard wrongly that the spring would only drop out the first time..

Kow, scared the hell out of me sia..

To re-assured me, the ic told me to look out for the spring when i go back for 2nd servicing..

The item you refer to is a STRAINER and goes inside the spring and engine oil draining bolt. The earlier models were Magnitized to catch metal filings. I m not sure about the oresent models - will check at next oil change.

 

This item is essential for the assistance in trapping metal and other bits that are floating around in the engine sump that have escaped the oil filter ! So just clean it up and replace carefully with the drain nut and spring.

i think they are using mineral oil..

i think it about 40dollars.. plus the oil filter

Can i ask those wif stock IRC tyres, does it state on the tyre wall that it is made in Japan? I changed mine without even finding out....:giddy:

 

The ones I saw at Future Scootering last Saturday did say 'Made in Japan' on the sidewalls.

In short, after opening the drain cap(size 24), two parts will drop out together with the EO. They are the spring and the wire mesh filter. But sometimes, the wire mesh filter might not drop out. Got to use finger to take out after all the EO is drain out.

 

So in total, the mechanic must put back the wire mesh filter, spring and the cap back before he pour in the new EO into the engine.

Anyway, i miss out seeing him out back the cap and spring to... hahah
