wah liao almost knock down a cyclist yesterday. damn pissed. i was turning out to the main rd from my carpark. check no 1 on the left and so check on the traffic on my right. when confirm able to move off, turn my head to face the front and see a female cyclist infront of me. jam my brakes and stopped on the spot. she was riding on the pavement from my left to right. lucky i am traveling at 10 to 20 km/h so can stop in time. dun the cyclist check before the cut across the rd to get to another side of the pavement? so dangerous. they shouldn't even ride on pavement in the first place. is there a law on this? can the govenment enforce law on that?

ermm seriously, i have never seen a police stop a pedestrian riding on the pavement. it is as good as no law. no matter what, motorists are at the losing end when accident happen between cyclists and motorists.

I mean singaporeans need to be scared sometimes. if u keep seeing reports of pple kena fine for riding on footpath, they will stop doing it at least for awhile. just like traffic offence. when TP are on the ball and have many reports about pple kena caught all that, u can see on the rd that pple tends to drive/ride slower.
