you can try 219 motorshop or Chiap Lee but 1 bad news: there's no available stock for MHR OF505 white color in the market.

 

Chiap lee mentioned that stock will only come in another 2 months' time: thats means sometime in end of june or early july if info is correct....

 

price: not known. heard white is more expensive than other colours....

my problem: I got a BIG BIG head, last time at LAB, had to take a XXL size helmet to fit me. I can squeeze into my friend's L size, but get bad headache after 10mins wearing it.

any reviews on the hjc HQ 1 carbon fibre helmet? or any other helmet in that price range that's good?

 

nice helmet... i got the red one, at $400 from motoworld

 

reasonably light (but not as light as you'd expect, what with the carbon fiber and all, think the expensive ones like agv are lighter... but of course the lighter ones are not in the same price range la)

 

have received many many compliments on the graphics from both riders and non-riders... it is a rather good looking helmet i must say.

 

have survived 2 minor accidents with it and my head was ok (however impact to helmet was not great, crashes were at moderately slow speed and my body hit the floor first *ouch*)

 

helmet looks and feels relatively better quality than cheaper hjcs... e.g. fg-14

double d-ring attachment... this is

 

however, i noticed that the finishing was not very well done, some parts of the helmet had small flakes of loose paint which were simply varnished over... parts of the graphic were also printed a bit skewed... with the coloured parts overlapping... quite disappointed cause this helmet is supposed to be hjc's more high-end model... but can only be seen from close up though

 

i find the cushion very comfortable... but my head is not very choosy about helmet cushions. not bad ventilation too.

 

but the bad part is when stopped at traffic light, the visor tends to fog up. but once you start moving, it clears pretty quickly.
