Those who enrol on the 18th of May 2009, onwards, will have to sit for NOT 4 Theory lessons, BUT 7 Theory Lessons.

The 4 Theory Lessons are still the same as before, but the new 3 lessons are defensive theory lessons. This has been instructed by Traffic Police, so the other Driving Schools are also implementing this.

After completing the 4 Theory Lessons, then u will be allowed to book for the 3 defensive Theory Lessons. If i remember cleary, u have to pay about $7.50 per lesson(Defensive Lesson).

Only after completing All 7 Theory Lessons and passed Practical Lesson 7, then you will be allowed to book for your Traffic Police Practical Test.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yea, planning for a RTT practice before the real deal!

Anyway, I think it is real nice to have the defensive theory lessons. Though time constraint might be a problem, I had trouble finding time finishing the 4 lessons.

Anyway just a side question:

I'm also taking Class3 as a Private at SSDC and I just want to clear the BTT/FTT.

I have a BTT coming up on the 20th, can I go to the Revision class though I did not enrol for the Theory part of it?

Thanks.

PS: Practical later at 1Pm! My Zebra tan lines might just get more prominent after that.

Haha, just at my 2nd Lesson 1. I expect to be back for another Lesson 1 before they move me up to Lesson 2.

I'm at the small circuit later on, hopefully they allow me to try out the big circuit today. :p

Yea, cleared Lesson 1! Lesson 2 this Friday. Tried the outer circuit and the cornering. Was not too bad, quite fun. Manage to go to gear 4 and back, just need more practice on this. Only difficulty I had was I did not know when to on the throttle during the cornering, my bike lost speed right at the cones a few times! And was told, repeatedly, to look up. Had this tendency to look at the stop line and speedometer.

No one fell today, which was nice. And the only 'accident' I saw today was this 2 cars going into e-brake after a close shave. First time see tyre got smoke. Lucky I was off the outer circuit by then!

Anyway, don't know I'm lucky or what, all the instructors I get are those who are really cheerful and joke around with you.

No matter is theory or practical. The malay instructor I get was poking fun at us all the time. But of course it was for us to learn better, not some random joke.
