Look at the eye point? ur eye point is refering to your action. To phrase it correctly, Your eye point should be looking at where u want to go. :thumb:

Barely 6 months into my Class 2A and I already bought my Class 2 bike. :sian:

Lol nice!

You either layup the bike or you get someone to own it first. In my case, my partner is using the bike while waiting for me to pass. He's actually quite annoyed by it!!

Wad bike u bought?

Not an issue for me though. I have absolutely no temptation to ride my bike once I think about all the licences that I will lose (Class 2A, Class 3). I have absolutely no intention to retake all my tests!!!

In fact, I think I will miss my Class 2A bike very much! Sob!!!

Its all up to personal discipline.. i happen to found a good deal on the c2 bike thats y i bought it..

When you apply to have the ownership of a vehicle transferred to you at LTA, you need to show that you have bought insurance for the bike.

If you don't have the licence to ride the vehicle, no insurance company will offer you insurance. No insurance, no ownership.

The only way to get around it is to layup the bike. Laying up means you temporarily deregister the bike. The bike will be in your name, but it is not "road worthy" (no road tax / vehicle licence) and not allowed on the roads. You need to park it somewhere like your carpark. When you get your licence and insurance, you need to tow your bike for inspection before applying to LTA for road tax / vehicle licence. Then your bike will be allowed on the roads.

gd for u...lol..eh if i not wrong ownership rite can dun have any vaild license as long e rider have can..example mother is e owner u e subrider..correct me if i m wrong..tis wad i heard from ntuc last time

Yesterday, I rode it around my car park first to test acceleration, brakes and cornering & maneuver left and right etc. Seemed to be fine so I rode it to tuition. I'm petrified by the slopes at the multi story carpark! Almost get a heart-attack there. I had so much fun on my scoot, but I always have the worry of something like that or worse happening in the back of my mind. However, it certainly didn’t stop me from riding. I love riding my scoot. I need to gain confidence back! And be more 'garang'. Stop being so 'xiao jie'. :box:

gd gd...go for more riding..gain exp when u ride...every1 fall..no worry:angel:

HOLY **** lol.. sibeh fierce. Wats the rough price tag for that thing? haha damn swee lol makes my Honda looks worthless.

If its new bike then not worth it.. but if it is 2nd hand or something then not so bad.

Wrong.. any person can be the owner of a vehicle.. dun have to have any licence if u lay up.

But if u wan the bike to be legally On the road.. one of the subrider/rider must have licence.

I'm the third owner (more like my partner is as it's under his name). Less than $20K, fully paid.

very nice man... personally have not seen a monster 696 in the steel otr.

personally, i don subscribe to 'starving/eat grass' or 'work like a horse' just to afford and upkeep a bike. it totally defeats the purpose of enjoying your bike and your ride.

just sharing my own gauge, if one is unable to full cash a bike, the person is not ready to buy that particular bike.

i cannot imagine being tied down for a few years for a bike... lol.

My partner and I currently have four bikes between us and all of them are paid in full cash.

Only one of them is brand new and it was because we traded in an old bike plus the insurance payout from his accident.

We have dreamt about bikes like the RSV4 and BMW S1000, but we've decided that they're not for us because:

a) our (my) skills are not good enough to bring out the best in our current bikes, not to mention these superbikes;

b) these bikes will be super underused since we don't go to track often (I've never been there in fact);

c) we primarily use our bikes for transport not for "display".

Afford them? We definitely can, and in full cash, but it will be "not worth it" for the above reasons. I might as well just buy a cheap Picanto for rainy days.

To be frank, the accessories for the Ducati are already killing me. Not the amount, but the relativity. I'm too used to paying Japanese prices; these Italians really cost waaaay too much! I might just switch back to a Japanese bike after I'm done with this one. OUCH!!!

Luckily my partner knows how to maintain bikes :D I only send my bikes to the workshop for complicated (carb/suspension servicing) or dirty stuff (oil change).
