The bike shop actually bought from motorworld & fixed it for me. According to smicerboy, mine is GIVI crashbar. Didn't your bike shop provide for u meh?

Mine is about $310 including transport and ordering. All done by the bike shop. Save me a lot of time. You can try to go motorworld basement to check out the price. I think mine is expensive.

 

For spare parts, you can ask smicerboy.

Varas - GPS in Thailand, no need lah. A map will do n there is alot of directional around Thailand so no worries.

pingster >>Yup Gps basically works the same in the sea or on the land. Its just the brand which differ the gps, else basic functions all the same: to pin point ur location and prevent u from "hollanding"... I used it during my army days.. but that is just the most basic of all, only show u ur grid position.. then u need to locate ur position from the map again.. those top of the range (= more $$$) show ur exact location with graphics.

 

hmm y ur fren need it ? Sea , I assume he's onboard vessel, all merchant vessel are equipped with gps system so why he got it for?? His private boat ? keekeke

 

Happy125>> I assume urs is a vara125, good place for accessiories are biketech 21, motorworld ,mtechnik ( cant comfirm if they carry any stuff for 125) but sadly , the market for this bike is small. Hence the high price for stuff and spare parts.. But then , there's alot of fellow Vara125 bros round here, so u could do mass order with them, thus bringing down the price. Unite is power kekeke u could find them here vara 125 and 1000 actually both is the same , so feel free to roam around good to have more choices mah kekeke

 

Simplybochup>> I would always advice fellow Vara riders to get 1 stuff over other accessories, CRASHBARS . The most impt piece of equipment u would ever fit on ur bike... Call motorworld (carry riky cross, touratech I think ) or biketech21 ( SW motech, touratech) ,Chaplee( Givi) or Mtechnik at # 5 jalan wangi.

( 5 stars, may have touratech) up to check if they got stock.

I left my numbers all back home , so sorry that I cant put in the numbers...

bro juz curious.....is it normal for v twin bikes to be very torquey? mines 125cc but added superione fuel booster, broquet like stone into the tank, used engine n petrol additive STP, change to pirelli sports demon tire....i always get this sudden power surge or is it i am juz getting high of speed? hehehe!

Now I need to have them installed. Where can I go to have it done and what's the charges like?

Usually when I got my accessories, main stand , pannier racks, crash bars... etc

I would fix it myself.. its better this way, thats how u know ur bike better..kekkeke

 

But if u wish , u could ask biketech21 to refer you to their recommended bike shop... I think should be under $50. Hope it helps

Glad to have you guys around in the trip. We are all back after dinner in JB. Everything went to plan and we are in JB at 1830 sharp. The traffic after our dinner was terrible. We probably scratched many cars and their mirrors
