Electrical connectors

Hi does anyone know where I can buy automotive grade electrical connectors? I'm looking for one which can connect 3 wires. Hopefully waterproof but can be easily disconnected when needed. Thanks.

Get AMP Superseal series, it is rated to IP67, immersion in water up to 1 meter.

 

You can get it from ebay, RS Component, Farnell or maybe Sim Lim

just get normal crimp connectors and shrink tube...this will give you ip65 ,...joints..

bike done need waterproof stuff..

waterproof= able to survive underwater..

Btw these Deutsch connectors come in 2 to 12 ways size.. & are use extensively in the Mining Industry bec of their IP68 rating...

 

They aslo comes in a Mini size as well for the automotive Industry applications....

From what I understand, Deutsch connector has 2 types of pin/socket. The normal stamp & formed type and the solid type which require a special Mil-Spec 4 indents crimper, those working in avionic should be very familiar with this tool

Yes, you can use a normal non-insulated connector crimping pliers to crimp the wire barrel, the insulation barrel taps can use a pair of long nose pliers to fold them in.
