<Ride> Cameron Highlands Ride 6th to 8th Aug

Hi all, riding mates are welcomed to join me and my pillion partner for a ride to the cool mountains at Cameron Highlands. My hotel has been booked and confirmed. Costs for the hotel is 270 rm for 2 nights for a double room. Those who are keen can put down your name here and pm me your hp. no. I will then give you the link to the booking hotel site. Hurry, before the hotel is fully booked cos it's a favourite for tourists during this period. Below are the details:-

 

Date: 6th to 8th Aug 2011

 

Time: 6th Aug 3.30am (Move off at 4 am sharp)

 

Place: TBA

 

Bikes: 2A and above

 

Itinerary: Free and easy....Boh tea plantation, Bee, strawberry, vegetable farm, Time

tunnel, night market, hiking trail, butterfly farm, cactus, rose farm, sakai

village, waterfall.

have a safe trip bro..juz got back from cameron last wk..der r sum cheap hotels at tanah rata for as low as 50-70rm per night to those ppl whom r on a budget..during dat period mebbe will be higher i duno..cheers! have fun! must eat strawberry icecream!!!

total distance from gp esso to the summit and back is abt 1100km..tapah is e last R&R before u exit for cameron..it took me abt 1 n half hours juz to reach e top(partly becoz got waterfall to take pics along the way uphill)..if ur bike already low on fuel if u miss the tapah exit..not to worry..along the way up der are a few petrol stns(shell n petronas) at renggit(i tink dats e name of e place)..feel free to pm me if u guys need any info..i came back abt 2 wks back so sum stuff are still fresh in my mind ..ride safe..ride more..worry less

Hi Carebearsam, are you going by bike or car? If you are riding, you are most welcomed to join me and my wife for the trip. I've planned to start at 4 am so that I can avoid the KL jam and also to reach Cameron at noon, just nice for lunch. Secondly, I was also thinking of going into KL for a special breakfast of roti babi:

Hi Gary, you just need a bike with a top box and a tank bag for you and your pillion. Still got time to prepare these 2 items. Weather so hot here, over there very cooling, you know? Some more it's a super long weekend!
