btw anyone using aftermarket air filters - DNA and Simota

Wonder where can I get it ?

DNA, Simota and BMC have after market air filters for maxsym.

only BMC sold in SG. $150+ iirc

Simota sold in KL. ~$90, or direct from taiwan $70+

DNA also available from taiwan. price i think almost $100

I've been using simota for >1year. personally feel no diff.

If no significant difference, it would be better spent on a new pair of diablo then..

Last weekend i just changed EO (ENI 10w50) and gear oil (80-90), feeling a little rougher than before.

Thinking of switching to Redline gear oil (75w140) instead.. any pointers if i DIY?

EO should be 10w40. 5w40 also can. I suggest u change out your GO asap. 75w140 is the correct weight. 90 is too thin. Redline is good. I finish 1 bottle already. 1 bottle can change 3 times

If you want to diy go get a ketchup squeeze bottle with long nozzle. Measure and pour oil into bottle 330ml. And squeeze into the GO hole. Its not possible to pour in.

Yeah I bought redline from autobacs and decided I'd just return to same shop to change. Now I'm enjoying a much smoother ride, Less vibrations at all RPM!

Today I got the DNA air filter from MotoWorld Hodaka :) now my scoot can breathe better!

Wow the row of maxi scoots looks grand. Must be lotsa fun to cruise in a tour.

Hope I'll be able to make it for the next touring/rounding! (if there's another one coming)
