nt really.. to my knowledge, S4's FC has all along being better than fz6..I rode a S4 before FZ6, can really tell the difference in FC..FC for smaller bikes tend to be better.. class 2b bikes are the most economical if u're asking me...

Actually S4 is fine if riding in SG., but it would be nice to have that extra 200cc for Msia highway.

just curious, where do u guys mount the IU? i tried to pass through a gantry with it under my seat today and I FAILED PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID.

 

ERP:1 Me:0

 

just didn't want to mount it at the steering, blocks out our pretty speedometer and looks as ugly as an old lady with no clothes on.

 

did anyone mount it under our front cowling? there's plenty of space there but i'm still not sure if i should make a bracket yet in case it doesn't get detected again. i read of a mod where someone used AA batteries with the IU but they needed to carry it around as and when they needed to use it.

 

 

 

maybe i could make a bracket but keep the IU under my seat, just pull it out and attach to the bracket using velcro when i need to use it. ARRRGH! bo idea liao help meeeee!!1

i heard of the batt thingy before as well.. i'm interested in it too.. all bikes look ugly with that stupid IU unit... i rem some ang moh ask me before what's that gadget on our bike... he must have thought it's some new gadget to ehance our bike performance...

 

i thght of the strap thing before for my S4 but if u put under seat, then for those car parks usin ERP thingy, u mus rem to take it out each time before u approach it, quite troublesome.

oh... i got it fix onto the handle bar.

using the 'top-right' screw of the handle bar cramp, so far so good.

doesn't block any of the speedo, i wanna to fix it in the seat compartment, but on 2nd thought since my work place C.P uses ERP scanning, i decide to fix it on the current position.

The 2007 FZ6-S is about 14.5k++ OTR, insurance for >31 years old.

 

The 2007 FZ1-S is about 18.5k++ OTR, insurance for >31 years old.

 

Hope this is a guide for the people who are interested to get this 2 model. Cheers!

HL did not bring in the ABS version. but expect to add at least 1k to 2k more for the ABS....

went to HL to check out the new FZ6, seems to me that the seat is slightly more comfortable than the previous version. really tempting, the bike looks very chio..

selling for 14850 to be exact, they not bring in ABS.

yes now the bike look better quality change in the seat, brake and the fairing paint is much better than the previous model. but engine remain the same so don't get con by the look. n bargain tat with motorshop and u will get a better price.

I not sure abt the End Can.. But as for full system, it cost $1100 at motorworld..

1.1k is consider cheap for a full system if it's street legal.

think its only the end can....

cos FZ6 got 2 exhausts...thats y the pricing for end cans are all above 1k

katana is rite.. actually there are already a few options of end cans currently available for the earlier models which will fit nicely to the 07 fz6.

1.1k for a pair of yoshi end cans is actually quite a gd price.....full system should cost more...

got micron, yoshi, akrapovic budget series, leo vince, arrow, remus

 

so many brands but all slip ons. i've never seen a full system for our bike yet.
