Hi guys... Im wondering if there is aftermarket exhaust for FZ6 '07 and is it advisable to use the bike for track(not serious, just for fun)? I love the bike for its shape and positioning of rider posture... My idea of getting a class 2 bike is that is both for touring(more for this purpose) and track use... And if there are other bikes that can do both, pls enlightened me... Thank you

Update on my FC for my Fazer 600 07.

Current Mileage : 3142km

Rider's weight : 95

Pillion's weight : 50

Travelling on Highway usually.

Tyres psi : front 36, rear 42 ( as stated on the bike's manual for max load )

Air Filter : OEM

Exhaust : OEM

Bike : Basically entire bike is stock (OEM)

 

 

I'm doing an avg of 18km/l for my bike. The higher side of 18. Roughly 18.6 to 18.9. I've tried V-Power, SPC 95, Caltex Techron silver ( 95 ) can't really rem its gold or silver and lastly Mobil F-1 ( JB ).

 

All giving bout the same mileage. Reason why i'm getting lesser mileage could be mainly due to the load. I'm 90% riding with max load ( FAT rider and pillion ) and perhaps i'm slightly heavier on the throttle.

 

Will be able to get 290-300km be4 reserve light start lighting up. Pump around 16litres.

For those whose interested in buying a Fazer 600 07, I actually managed to get 20-22km/l when im travelling alone in NSH. So guess what really affect my FC the most would be the weight =D

 

If your not as fat as me, you dun have to worry that much, your FC will be much better.

19 - 19.9km/l depends on my speed.

well as the other FZ riders always say: 'Ride more, worry less'

This time, 90% alone, 10% pillion.

Riders weight : 95kg ( hope it goes down )

Road : Mainly expressway.

 

Fat riders out there, cheers, we can hit 20km/l too =D

i was qouted $17.6k without insurance by the guys at big bike fest this morning. bike production seems like a reasonable price, but i'm just scared i'm not patient enough to tahan their attitude. haha

actually, if u're a serious buyer, ah shui will nt gv u attitude. i bght my last fz6 n current s4 from him without any problem. also help if u make ur mthly payment promptly. just gv him a courtesy call if u cant make it within the stated period n he will gv u an extension.

From what i know, be4 i buy my fz6. Both BP and ASP quoted me same 13.8k. BP includes insurance, ASP don't. However, BP will dump a 500 into ur monthly installment.

 

Which means 13.8k + 500. So beware of this. The agreement fees so call... WTH i agree to? ASP is 13.8k + 850

 

So say to speak, if BP in the first place offer me some freebies, i might buy from them, but in actual fact, nothing is given. Even they give, under same condition, based on how i felt after leaving the shop, i still get from ASP.

Yup, guess so. U riding cb400 now, no need FZ6 liao. Unless u like the extra Horses. Otherwise, no need change la. I too wanted to get cb400, just that my size cannot match. Machiam RXZ to me if i ride cb400.

actually regret sellin my fz6.. miss riding it.. the S4 is a temp replacement for now till i hit 31 and i'll switch bk to a fz or something else bigger.. cheaper insurance for 31

i tried shell 98 and got same mileage but riding a bit different (when ride into mscp cannot resist blow a a bit ). 19.8 again

at least they do give extensions. not that i'm gonna be late in paying installment (normally i'll make it a point to pay way in advance for my bikes) but my current bike shop warned me about the late fee even late for a day and f*ck extensions, they havent heard of it yet (except delivery of my new bike). all these even after 2 bikes from them. boo.
