at least they do give extensions. not that i'm gonna be late in paying installment (normally i'll make it a point to pay way in advance for my bikes) but my current bike shop warned me about the late fee even late for a day and f*ck extensions, they havent heard of it yet (except delivery of my new bike). all these even after 2 bikes from them. boo.

 

 

 

i'll take this into consideration when i'm out scouting for the fz1. thanks guys.

i was qouted $17.6k without insurance by the guys at big bike fest this morning. bike production seems like a reasonable price, but i'm just scared i'm not patient enough to tahan their attitude. haha

This time, 90% alone, 10% pillion.

Riders weight : 95kg ( hope it goes down )

Road : Mainly expressway.

i tried shell 98 and got same mileage but riding a bit different (when ride into mscp cannot resist blow a a bit ). 19.8 again

ever since i had my side panniers install, i still ride as normal.

didn't go & notice the mileage during riding.

i oso dun koe Y, dun koe how come.

nowadays i'm getting like between 300km-310km b4 reseve.

in e past is like onli 280km+/- b4 reserve.

i guess e advise did work, i'm riding more, worrying less..

okie.. i'm bumping tis up for those who're waiting for V35 to come into SG.

tat givi guy i mention sometime back in 1 of the FZ threads.

i saw him again on national day during my work, he's my customer.

asked him abt e V35.

 

he told mi tat it won't be in asia market, not even US market. so far onli europe has it.

reason: they're using europe market to test out the boxes 1st for 1 yr, improve on it b4 bringing it into other regions.

from wat he told mi, it seems like europe had a betta givi after-sales services.

if there's something with the rack or boxes, givi will send a tec down & try to solve for u. i'm impressed upon hearing tat.

(not sure how true it is. i'm not sure abt the post he's holding in givi but i bet it's quite a high post. e last time i saw him, he's with Mr Mah from Mah motor, Bobby from sporting. they're discussing abt giving the SG givi dealership to Mah motor.)

i koe NTUC is charging no e high side as compared to other company.

but from wat i koe, NTUC does cover parts of Malaysia.

lolypop...italian sevices are damn good. my brother owns a fiat brava, and once he made complain to italia motors about the vibration causing the mirrors and the dashboard to vibrate too badly. they sent an executive down all the way from italy so check the fault personally and all repair cost are to borne by Fiat. How cool is dat man! but then if there were to be the same sevice for yamaha, Japan factory would have closed by now or probably shifted here in S'pore.

Keep us updated on ur new FC. I believed new riders or soon-to-be would like to know more. Especially after u installed the side panniers. I'm getting better FC now, due to traffic conditions and less pillioning. 20km/l consistent.

Exhaust, now side panniers, whats the next "bling bling" u gonna add on? PC3 perhaps? Saw ur bike once at Jubilee, got poisoned by it. When i manage to spare some cash, i will get those exhaust too

ya lor.. when i heard it from e givi guy, i was like 'got buff mi or not, such good service' guess no way in SG, we'll be treated tat way.

What side panniers u installed? H&B or ? Thinking of getting 1 set. Need them for school. Too much barang barang to bring with me.

oh, i DIY it.

bought the 3M reflective strip @ JB holiday plaza.

4 rolls total, 1 roll for each side. (in fact, 3 rolls should be enough, tat's if u intend to use the leftover for 1 side.)

mine's come in straight roll, have to strech & paste.

30 mins job.
