I was talking to my gf this morning. Told her i wanna outlined my rims. But she can't visualise it. Gonna show her ur work later when shes back =D

 

Saw that a red outline for the rims comes stock with the blue colour FZ1N, just wondering, does it come with the FZ1S??i saw the silver FZ1S, it does not have the outline. is it that only certain colours have the outline?

Yeap.. only blue FZ1 naked model,R1 and R6 raven color scheme got red linings on the rims. Haiz...my midnight black FZ1 naked dun hav also.Tot of going Juzzwheels to chk out their workmanship.

08 naked FZ1 came with new mirrors,new belly pan,competition white model (the blue model is gone) and new wheels color. FZ-S also cosmetics updated (gold colored wheels).

Update on FC.

 

I got 20.5km/l, even after installing the H&B side panniers. I thought it would somehow affect my FC due to the wind drag. However, no significant loss in my FC.

 

I pumped 17.5litres at SPC earlier with 360.5km on my odometer.

 

Anyway heres the profile.

 

Riders weight : 95kg

Pillion : 80% without pillion

Road Condition : Massive jam at lornie road, then smooth journey all the way from Lornie rd exit PIE to Pioneer Rd north. ( Mon - Fri )

Travelling speed : 100-120km/h

Tire pressure : 36psi front, 42psi rear

Side panniers : 2 set of raincoat, 1 bike cover, 1 school bag and 1 file( extremely heavy).

Yeah perhaps. When u get more air flow, u need more fuel for combustion, hence the extra bhp.

 

But u getting somewhere close to 18-19? i Think its pretty worth to trade for. Nice bassy exhaust note for a little losss in fC.

the ecu adjusts air intake volume via a solenoid valve, not fuel amount. it's just that people with bassy exhausts are tempted to rev their bikes harder and hear what their money bought. a slip on doesn't improve that much exhaust flow as opposed to a full system, yes? i have standard mileage with the akras, slightly lower when using gas with a higher amount additives like v-power but it's just 1-2L less. standard gas(shell 95) for me is ~20.5km/L

hopStick;3304537']Im using the Frame sliders for now. The one that will protect your engine. But i think crashbar is much more stronger. I'll be ordering swingarm slider and fork slider from Motovation.

 

Do let me know if ur interested, perhaps we can order in bulks. Was quoted 100 for swingarm and fork. Crashbar wise, nicest i've seen is from Givi and H&B.

H&B side panniers will cost u ard $850-$980 , depending on the size.

yes 2 pairs. Fork and swing arm. For 40litres H&B junior, retail price is at 980. Depending on ur bargaining skills, u might get it cheaper.

just got the frame sliders for 70. Will consider the fork and swing arm. Will probably get the tank bra and headlight protector first. by the way, any OEM belly pans to recommend? the price of original ones are abit on the high side... is there a quality difference? or is it just the Yamaha branding???
