Ya,might be the magnetic coil. You can crak but cant start, cos your bike cant charge propely.Soon you rectifer might also be gone too.

Or maybe something is wrong with your fuel line.

Or you need to wash and service your carburator.

Or might be your spark plug.

Go to a trust mech and have it check.i only know a bit here and there.

hope can help you .

hi guys, i need your help to recommend a good CBR900RRV mechanics. I just got my '97 CBR900RRV 2 weeks ago, it runs well till 3 days ago...

when i start the bike in the morning, the bike easily started with just one press on the start button, however, after warm up for 5 mins, the rpm starts to drop from 1100rpm and dies off. I try to throttle a little in order to keep up the rpm, but it doesn't work, the engine die off like no fuel supply to it... after that the bike can't start, press the start button and the bike will crank, but it just wont start. :giddy:

i have to wait for another 10mins or so, then i can start the bike again, this time the bike starts normally, idling at about 1100rpm, warm up 3 mins, i can ride the bike off, no more problem after that....

anyone encounter this problem? what is the possiblity of causing this problem? which shop good in CBR900RR?

thanks!

U can go to Planet motorsycles at Ubi. He is gd solving this kind of problems.

ya, just went there after my work, below are the result:

just now started bike without any problem, then went to bike shop, my mech test rode and told me nothing wrong with the engine, only need to tune the carb cos a little out already...

the die off may be due to the faulty neutral sensor, if i put my side stand during warm up, it will cut the fuel after a while.. my mech ask me to warm the bike by sitting on bike, dont put the side stand... he said he encounter this case before...i will try tomorrow morning, update you all again...

phew... at least not my coil or engine...

need to test it tomorrow morning, if alright, i just change the sensor fot $20 and tune the carb for $80...
