I think white light is ok.

HID is illegal.

Be mindful of the wattage as to not melt the reflector.

I usually ensure I got the crappy yellowish lights for inspection, just to be on the safe side friend. :-)

nt only melt the reflector. can melt ur wiring harness as well.

this is true. My fren had his casing melted true. The power rating n temperature could be too high. That could be one of the main reasons why only vehicles which comes with HIDs originally from the manufacturer are legal. The design n safety aspects have been carefully taken into consideration.
