If you wanna use it for long before you get your class 2. i think its worth the money. Yes for sure you gonna experience downfall such as accident and stuff. And the parts is not as cheap as other 2B bikes. But one hell for sure, it's an eye opener. Fuel consumption should be that bad. 4 stroke 2B. To maintain should be easy :)) Not that much spend if compared to class 2. And also its a fun bike to play around :)) Its all about how you look at it :) if you really interested, no one stopping you :)

Hi,

I pretty much had the same questions before I settled in for it. So, as far as the bike is concerned its just such a fantastic piece of machinery, These days a lot of emphasis on looks and most bikes more or less get it right, in my personal opinion Duke exceeds it, not just on how it looks but the practicality in its design. It’s a well built bike and the quality of plastics used on the bike is of really high grade. The touch and feel actually gives you a premium feel. I use it as an everyday bike and as a 125cc its pretty decent. Its fun to ride, got decent grunt considering the size of the motor it engages. Riding position is something I and most who have ridden it agree as being just perfect.

I kinda feel an other 3-4 additional horses would have been just perfect but having said that it does a 100kph pretty easily (adequate for SG isn’t it ??), push it and you get to add an other 7 or 8 more kph (who knows you might just be able to swap it later to a 200 kit, really wishing I could considering the D200 has just the same bock ;-)…). It fees solid and planted while riding and at the same time light and agile. I am sure you would have read the tons of reviews by experts out there, all I can tell you now is ‘I couldn’t agree more’.

I get about 37KM/L and I quiet roast the road on it, and on those days I decide to lay low and just enjoy the soft ride… I have even got 54 (all this as per the on board speedo display)

Well that’s my 2cents, my advice, continue your research like you are doing now ;-) take a test ride, think about it and by the time you are done with all of this may be you would have made up your mind. I don’t regret mine one bit and I am glad I brought it.

Good Luck !!

I did call and enquiry about the price. So far i know that the machine price of the DUKE 200 is 10.5k. So please consider properly before buying this bike.

1. Worth every single cent.

2. Nope, regular oil changes and thats about it.

Then again, u got tot set your context correct. Its damn expensive compared to a KupChai. Cheap compared to S4. Damn cheap compared to a Ducati.

other than that, the bike is damn sturdy and tough.

i have ridden it 100% WOT most of the time on expressways at 100km/h - 110km/h

Slow in a safe way for ur 2B license.

i think with the Duke 200 u can skip 2A bike.

it shud be faster than CBR250, easier to maintain than CB400.

Ok...If u r looking for looks, then there are so many options here...

a. sport bike or

b. naked bike or

c. scooter or

d. scrambler...

Which one?

If u r really interested in ktm duke 125/200, pls consider and take a look properly at the bike.

For me, it looks nice when u look from the front and rear view but not from the side view.

Why? Because the length of the bike especially from the seat to the back onwards. It is too short. Look's a bit funny.
