my millege is around 300km and it hit reserve..but the light haben light up..is it normal? cos i feel that it is wayyyyyyyy to less...imagine 40 liters...and travel only 300km..die la..if it is not normal..anyway i can save this situation? clean the filter? or?

 

and also..if the no fuel light light up..how many more km can i travel b4 totally gone?

Hmm, owned an esi before... My mileage was about 7km per litre of petrol. This should be normal for COE cars ba... Saving the situation i guess u have to be light footed, not to floor the pedal often, try to use the highest gear whenever possible. Maintenance do help i guess but im not so knowledgeable on which particular parts to service.

My second car was a Civic Hatch Esi 1.6l, mileage per liter was about 11 -12km.

 

7 km per liter is way way too much.

by the way, even my current geartronic/auto Volvo 2.4l is 7.5km per liter so you've got issues dude. go get it check.

wah, could be many many things

 

fuel line

fuel jet

fuel filter

airfilter

ECU

 

I think a good mech should be able to arrest the problem quite quickly

so which mean i go there and tell thekm that my oil eat very fast..lidat aR? then they will rectify the p[roblem is it?

tel them ur fc is veri high, check for clogging fluids, replace worn parts, maybe ur rim too big?.. a good mech should solve the problem :smile:

i calculate the amount of fuel i pump in..and then until the light turn on...then divide..and i get around 7km per liter...and this is the best i can go...kaoz...
