need help regarding issue on insurance and loading

hi everyone, i wanted to add sub rider to my fren`s RVF. when he and i went to the motorbike shop tht he purchase from he said that i have to pay the amt of diff from our insurance, as he is 23 and i am 20. his insurance is 700 while mine was 500. so i had to pay 200bucks plus he say need to pay another 150 for loading fee* the shop ppl says that becos i hav a new license so need to pay, rule jus start. but i was thinking i gt my 2b more than a yr now is 2a leh. so the shop ppl said ya the new policy is like that. did any1 encounter problems like this recently. and is it true abt the loading fee. and also my fren has already paid finish the installment so does that mean i can jus go to LTA to apply for the subrider instead of the bike shop rite? the shop ppl said tht if i were to take 2b bike then no need pay the fee, but if take 2A bike must.

ok from what i know .. only 2b P-platers need to pay the $150 loading fee.. i think the company is trying to chop you about 2A $150 fee. btw.. loading fee is different from the additional premium.. loading fee means last time u got claim before thats why they add the loading fee.. no u cant go LTA to get subrider... u need insurance coverage.. riding without isurance coverage is as good as riding without license..

cant go LTA and do the sub rider thingy? so where can i do the sub rider thing? cause i dunwan let the motor shop earn the 150. i nv got claim or anything. and my frens bike is fully paid.

adding sub rider is not LTA. Go directly to insurance company.
