The 2nd Petron Sprint 4T Endurance & Economy Run was given the green flag last February 05, 2011 with a field of 306 riders competing in eight classes.

While maintaining an emphasis on safety and proper adherence to public riding safety rules and regulations, the run required competitors to travel 750 kilometers with the most economical fuel consumption at the most reasonable time. Taking off from Petron-Diego Silang, the riders navigated through the roads leading to Valenzuela, Bulacan and then traversing McArthur Highway through the provinces of Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Benguet and Mountain Province. Nineteen designated Petron service stations along the route were utilized as official filling stations and checkpoints to verify that the participants followed the correct route and prescribed speed. The final checkpoint and finish line was located at the Petron service station in Kisad, Baguio City.

After 750 kilometers and several grueling hours on their bikes, Mark Paul San Pascual riding his Honda Dash 110cc registered the competition's most fuel-efficient run achieving an economy of 67.14 km/L. The complete list of class winners are as follows:

Awarding ceremonies were held a day after the race on February 05, 2011, at the Prince Hotel in Baguio City, where the top 3 finishers for each class were awarded. Trophies, cash prizes, Certificates of Accomplishment and a T-shirt were handed out to all the winners. Furthermore, the top 10 finishers in each class received a Petron Sprint 4T vest.

The event's official parter WRU GPS Tracking and Navigation provided live monitoring of the competitors with real-time updates every 3 minutes where all the race info was broadcasted online live on http://www.sprint4run.com. They also lent out large LCD monitors and projectors at the event's start and finish points. For more info about their products services, log on to http://www.wru.ph.
