You could try talking to CASE to see what they say. It seems to me that you have very little ground for a complaint against the shop, but of course, I may be wrong. It was a willing-buyer, willing-seller transaction, right? And it took place about a year ago? So where's the basis for a complaint? Were you sold a lemon, that is to say, a defective bike? Even if that is the case, you should have complained when you first bought it, not now.

 

I think you probably realised you bought the bike at too high a price. But price is something that is negotiated between buyer and seller. Were any facts relating to the bike hidden from you at the time of purchase? Did the shop for instance fail to reveal to you that the COE of the bike would expire soon? Did they lie to you about the age of the bike?

 

Talk to CASE first -- though I do doubt that a complaint would be successful. Always remember the cardinal rule when making any major purchase -- buyer beware, and make sure you do your homework.
