daelim parts are only avaliable in CKA and online. Aftermarket parts may fit such as K&N Air filters, Ixil Exhaust end-can, even some LED signal lights can be fitted....etc.

i don't understand why everyone keep saying so hard parts when CKA sells all the parts needed and if bike got problem can go back to the agent who are specialised in the bike, its not like cannot go anywhere else for other problem like battery and stuff.

as compared to yamaha and honda parts availability i believe both of them has an edge on daelim

Is the Daelim spare parts more expensive than the Yamaha or Honda spare parts?

1.94m rider here.. weight about 115kg.. ride a daelim r125 , able to clock 130km/h , 30km/L.. with pillion clock 120km/h ( tested on NSHW) this bike is so good that i going to keep it until coe & maybe renew COE cause the bike is just so good.. LOOK BIG, so i sit on sit doesn't feel weird.. low maintenance..and the bike is perfectly comfortable for me =D

1more thing u can change your tyre to those so call street racing tyre for better grip.. rear 140/150 front 110..

Yes .. yamaha and honda are just so popular that every workshop have part available .. but daelim doesnt lose to them tho .. CKA (sole distributor) have total of 4 workshop in singapore & 1 in malaysia..and CKA HQ technician never fail us..

if i not wrong .. yes but just abit more..cause is sole distributor BUT you will never regret paying abit more for their attitude, workmanship and everything ! u will always go home as a happy customer n never worry about your bike =D

yes, i agree that parts are abit harder to get at other shops for daelim because its considered still new, not very popular and size/length..etc may not fit. Only some aftermarket stuff can be fitted.

Its not as bad as you make it sound "daelim parts from what i know quite hard to get. any prob = die ".

so just to clarify;

daelim parts for repair: no problem

aftermarket parts: harder to find stuff that fits

Hi all. Ive been riding for over 20 years on various bikes eg Yamaha LC125/RD350, Honda GSXR Hurricane n Suzuki Katana and that was history till I get to know Korean bikes past 3 years. Just curious how korean technology is? Bought a B-Bone last 3 years - not bad. Rather fast after some mod done with marvellous FC. Last two weeks ive changed to Roadwin 125 FI 2012 model which I bought for my son whois waiting for his TP soon at $8800. Looks department i gave 8.5 over 10. Performance wise 7/10 (but still running in). Hv not really squeeze out its potential juices yet. Fuel so far after 3 top up is 31KM/L.

So the point is, Korean bike I belief is reaching to the same par as Japanese made ones. Now Look at their cars Kia/Hyundai. Look at their telecommunications gadgets.... I dont think I need to explain more. Im beginning to like Korean technology and its standards this past 3 years. The way it goes I might change to a Korean car soon.

Honda CBR adn R15 are both 150 c.c. Horse power higher then Daelim 125c.c. Price almost the same or cheaper then Daelim. Honda and Yamaha are reputable brand with easy to purchase spare parts. Better trade in value and more dealers willing to buy Honda and Yamaha. Need I say more.

To each his own, those who buy Daelim be prepare to loose big time.
