Yea...Got a quote from Chong Aik already. But its non psb approved yet. The psb approved version shd b launch end mth or next mth if all goes well.

Comparing this to the Nolan N104 cos of the price but I like the sun visor which isn't spring type like the Nolan. Dunno if the price is worth it bo but looking at review it seems not bad le...

Are they selling the non approved version at all? When I went down, the guy there told me he couldn't let me try it because it hadn't been approved yet. So I would be surprised if they are selling it

My understanding was that the SGD 700 quote was for the approved version, to be available around the end of the month as mentioned above.

When they quote me, they did not state anything.

It's only on a separate mail did they inform me that the helmet is not approved yet and they also did not mention they cant sell it yet before the

helmet is approve. If the 700 quoted is for the approved version, then its somewhat a relief as no nid to pay more lol...

Btw, how does the helmet feels? Is it as solid and I bet it is the D-ring buckle type right?

CA are currently having them tested and will be available end month or next month. Same goes for that rxgxxa shop. Will skip that shop even if cheaper. Had a really terrible experience.

Yeah, my experience has been poor as well. I would prefer to buy elsewhere, but will consider going back to them if the price difference is very big.

Also considering a Nolan N104 or N43 as an alternative, given the price difference. The N104 especially got a great review at WebBikeWorld : http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/nolan-n-104/

Though in the end the most important thing is how well each model fits my head... so waiting to try and compare.

I owned nolan n43 before. Not for my head. Also the sunvisor with weird nose cutout doesn't come down low enough and always in my line of sight. Very irritating. The shell also feels plasticky. Sold it after awhile. Not sure about the new 104.

If price no issue for you I suggest shoei as i also owned the multitec. So far so ood. The neotec will be an upgrade and my pillon will use the multitec. Happy shopping!

Thanks for the feedback on the N43. I have been using a Multitec for close to 5 years, so it's time to change. And of course, without trying either of them yet, the Neotec would be my first choice. But the price difference is significant and the N104 got a great review on WBW, so I figured it's at least worth trying, to find out how it fits me.

WBW describes its shape as more narrow while Neotec is more neutral to round. Since my head shape is narrow & long, I figure I might actually get a better fit with the N104. But of course it's all speculation until I get them on my head. In the end, this price range is not a deal breaker, I just want the right helmet for me :)
