issue on agreement...

hi all, my fren too kan chiong and went to sign on the agreement with bikeshop......but he haven even gotten his license and no guarantor yet......howeve he has sign the paper and has his ic photocopy already......so can he back out this thing???

how old is your friend? 2nd did he put any down payment?

my fren is 22, and no he never put any downpayment.....but he say trade in his bike, however the IC he take back le, so no chance to transfer

 

but if use photocopy ic canno transfer rite??

21 and above can no need guarantor.. cause what ever he signed is deem legal as he is above 21.. but however motordiams would want guarantor so in case u run they still got another person to chase for money.. nevertheless.. u need ORIGINAL IC to do transfer.. but how many days his ic put there?IN 1 day can do transfer liao .

As long as no deposit is paid, can back out anytime.

 

All contracts are only valid if a sum of consideration is paid.

but is there any legal issues coz he signed a few papersand has his IC photocopy????? will there be a penalty for him???

 

and what about his agreeing on the trading of his bike??

He just has to tell the shop that he does not want the bike.

 

Legally the shop cannot do anything as long as he paid nothing.

 

Administratively they also cannot transfer the bike as original IC is required.
