Hi to all X10'ers !

Will be taking over a X10 350 soon, may I know where u guys send your babies for servicing or repairs?

Also I would like to reposition the IU unit into the one of the glove compartment. Is this possible and where can I get it done?

Thanks and ride safe!

I would presume not many...... I saw quite a number of 350s on the road.

Hmm, in my opinion this should be a very good bike, but now adays , no much ppl discussing about it, especially in the own chat room?

not many demands for this bike.. the sale of this scooter is very little as compared to the taiwanese and japanese scooters bro.

Hi

Does anyone have any good shop that I can go change my X10 rear tyre?

I was told that it's hard to change and my cost more.

Thanks

Hi,

I would like to think tire removal and change for that the person who said that, would need abit of practice.

If you notice, most of the Piaggio that is 350CC and above, are likely to be about the same setup.

If a bike shop would say that statement to you, likely that, they are asking for more labor fee to change for you.

Would suggested that you may want to goto any of those bike shop that sells Piaggio X10 (New).

And I am pretty sure they will change your tires.

Hope you been enjoying your ride... :)

I have a X10 350 and have been having problems with the engine dying off in what feels like chocking, it usually happens after riding for more than 10 minutes at 80-100 km/h. After you stop and let it rest for 5 minutes or so it will start and ride fine again. I've been taking it to the bike shop several times and they have tried changing a few things like Spark Plug cap @ 8500 KM, Fuel Injector @ 16700 km, Engine Ice Coolant @ 17000 km, Plug Suppressor @ 17000 km and Fuel pump motor @ 17800 km. It happened yesterday again at 21500 km.

Anybody experience something similar? I read through the thread about engines dying off and possible causes like fuse box or side stand.

Appreciate any feedback as this is driving me crazy. It is a very intermittent problem and my bike shop can't replicate it when I leave the bike for them to test it.

Hi Tutu_alex

I changed mine last month at http://www.taihin.sg/. Got the Michelin one, cost me $180.

Hi Nacho,

I would like to suspect a few things: ( regrettably Piaggio fitment of some of its electronic parts are abit not complimentary to its brand name... Like yester-years Ferraris :p )

1. When you experience the "chokong" effect, did you notice any of the ABS or TCS lights flicking? If yes... Check those wiring at the brake area if should any of the front or. Rear wheel connector / fitment is loose.

2. Could be your main injector controller located in the dashboard, if the main harness connector or the connection plug has bad mating points to the controller.

3. This happened to me, the right handle bar "kill" switch assembly, has bad connections. And occasionally, when riding, the engine suddenly died on me. My mechanic, basically open the Kill switch assembly and check of the copper contacts are cleaned and contact are good. It sort of solve this sudden dying of engine since. :)

I hope the above helps.

spark plug cap from ignitor coil to plu tends to crack its head.

after replacement never occurred again
