need advice ...had an accident...ambulance came.. which some passer-by saw. Was ok therefore i didn't go with them tot he hospital.

Do i need to pay for the ambulance fee?

U didn't call for it, so dun need to pay.

If ambulance officer was nice / responsible in his duty, write to SCDF to thank him.

 

Other wise just pay your taxes on time, continue riding safely and be a good citizen all the time.

Like police/ fire etc, SCDF ambulance is shared service paid for by taxes collected.

 

Case closed.

No you dont unless u get conveyed to the hospital. The ambulance fee will be charge together with your medical bills. $100 if im not wrong.

Spoke to SCDF before:

Real emergency: FOC.

Not real emergency: whatever is their regular charge- they will bill U later.

 

(was the case 5yrs ago), pls do not ask me what is real emergency cos I don't know details, U can find them out at http://www.scdf.gov.sg/content/scdf_internet/en/header-link/contact-info.html

Mmm, mine was something like this. Ambulance was called via emergency line 995 and was sent to the hospital for treatment and operation which was followed by hospitalization of 3 days.

 

The fee for calling the ambulance was waived due to me being hospitalized.
