Hi,

I am new here and I just got my new MX a week ago. Have run in about 450km now. So far so good, although it sounds a bit loud when start to move at first gear, but quiet afterwards

Regards

Hey guys, I am thinking of getting a Spark or a Wave. Initially I wanted a spark, but seeing how only Jupiters are available now and they are made in indonesia, I am not so sure now. Can someone fill me in about the differences between the spark and the jupiter, and if the build quality is significantly different? Also, what are the stock colours? So far I have seen blue, purple, red... if theres white or white based, I will be sold! Thanks all for your inputs :)

No expert here.

But in a nutshell, the Jupiter MX is an upgraded version of Spark 135.

Both have quite similar specifications, other than the extra 1 gear(5) available on Jupiter, and some exterior styling, tyre widths.

If made in Indonesia means that the build quality is not there, it can be said also to items made in China, ain't it?

Don't let the brand deter you until you experience it yourself.

For the color options, if you're real desperate or strong-headed, you can head down to JB side to get coversets for Jupiter MXs, just need to find out more.

Conclusion - Interior Spark and Jupiter MX not much differences.

Just my 2 rupiah worth.

Road hogger @ 50km/h on 4th lane

A bike can go up till 200km/h, can the rider go up till 200km/h o_O

It could be the mindset that you have, that you're pumping more cents/ml petrol leading you to be not so throttle happy.

Most of the time, the fuel don't really have a big sway factor on our fuel consumption/ fuel efficiency, rather it's our mindset or attitude on the road that sways the figures most.

I'm riding 2nd hand spark, getting near 60km/l during run-in period on 95/5000 fuels.

To end off, to get the better fuel consumption, go for a change in mindset of riding, rather than what goes into our engine.
