Hello Jupiter-eans!

New user and rider here.

I got a question to ask.

Hope you all can help.

 

I just changed my stock tube tires to Maxis tubeless tires.

My front stock tires used to be 70/80 and rear tires 90/100.

But right now i just noticed my Maxis front tires are 80/90 and rear tires 100/70.

 

Is it me that finds it funny or its okay to be like that?

I mean do it affect my balancing or anything?

 

Hope you guys can help me out here. I need ya opinion.

ur new tyre sizes are ok if u pref more stability while corner 10cent. eh how come ue stock tyre diff from mine?

I wanna ask, i kick down gear then suddenly my indicator disappear,

high beam and temperture indicator still working but 1 N 2 3 4 5 not working

Oh and when i use the electric start i must clutch in eventhough its in neutral.

any1 having difficulty getting into 2nd gear from gear 1? i've been having problems. it will go to neutral when when up shift. Kinda hard to get to 2nd from neutral too...

a few bad things i observe for this bike

 

1. stock battery cannot last more than 1 month if u don start the bike at all (unlikely will happen but if u plan to park for more than 3 weeks, better to remove battery)

2. stock tyres are tube tyres although bike is on sports rim. dunno y, maybe its just my bike, pressure for front and rear can never hold more than 180 kPa. pump till 230kPa but next day back to 180...

3. stock chain very lousy. i changed to a DID one at 8000km. coz once a month need to tighten the stock chain, thats after 3000km... maybe i highway very often. always above 90km/hr

Any1 here encounter the front tyre and mudguard the alignment slightly offset ??? Btw is it due to the front mudguard hitting the top fairing whenever hit any potholes on the road as i have lowered my fork...

Juz did some make over on my jupy..

 

Bike shop @ jb ahboy.

 

Fork brace rm80

racing boy lever rm95

balancer rm30

Big front disc brake (bikers) rm140

front box wif top cover rm85

total rm430 discount rm420 = $182.

 

Changed led polelight white, headlight osram pure white, relay, led signal light, led brake light..

$90 With installation.

 

Total done $272.

 

overall happy n satisfied.

 

Next awaiting for exhaust den racing footrest.

But 80/90 front and 100/70 rear doesn't look funny meh? But like you said the cornering is good.

Anyway don't know lei, I got my stock tires like that. O.o?

after 3000km tighten stock chain.. I have to tighten it around before 1500km. loose so easily...

managed to go 54km per L at the speed of below 80km. traveling at expressway most of time and clutchless model.

My stock chain n batt been usin since 25dec wit auto start controller..not much prob for mi.. Mileage till nw is 8.3k but still can use.. No nd tighten s usin chain tension..

i used to have tensioner installed. but after i din start bike for 3 weeks, half of the chain was damaged. the half where the tensioner holds it.

Chain tension I tink I brought @ $50 frm wy..their stuff all dam x.. Best u all go jb buy.. Cheaper by alot

u need to top up the fork oil by 10-25ml per fork tube if u down ur forks...

Can Jupiter mx use spark coverset?

 

I don't think so, the front is already very different.

 

I have pictures of a Honda Wave using Spark full coverset & Yamaha X1 using Jupiter MX full coverset. I think with the right brackets, its possible for Jupiter to use Spark coverset. Just that I feel its a waste of effort? Buy Jupiter but use Spark coverset??

Means the gear already shifted but the gear indicator so called did not manage to detect it. Minor issue. Just clutch in abit & tap the gear shifter. Usually this settles the problem.

When from gear 1 and going to gear 2, kick up the gear shifter slightly harder. If you kick it too soft, will go to neutral instead. For gear 2 to neutral, tap the gear shifter softly. Kicking it too hard will drop it to gear 1 instead. Geddit?
