This is with respect to ssdc

what is circuit theoretical lesson? is it compulsory? Can I take it before my BTT?

What is the difference between TP practical riding test and TP practical test circuit & on road ?? Car only got 1 test so I dunno.

Once I pass my BTT, does it mean I get one PDL and class 2b and another PDL for class 3 and pay twice the money?

Does anyone know what is road lesson 7? Why is it so special?

I took from SSDC...pass recently only so SHOULD be able to answer your qns haha.

Circuit theoretical lessons basically the guy will just orientate you on the various courses you'll be going through in future lessons as well as basic controls of the motorcycle. No riding though. I'm not sure if you can take it before BTT because I already had class3 when I started 2b, but if i recall correctly, you need this before you can apply 2b PDL which you need for all prac lessons.

The main difference is..for Car I just followed instructions. Turn right..U turn... and so on. For bike there is ONE fixed route which you will be practicing over and over once you reach the later lessons.

For PDL, no, pay once. Can put both tgt on same piece of paper. Lets say you got class3 PDL and want to get a 2b one, you just tell the person at the traffic police counter. She'll make a new one with 2b on it for you, no charge.

Road lesson 7 is like an internal test and one-on-one assessment. One instructor will follow you on the road and tell you where to turn and stuff like that. He'll observe your riding to see if you're confident and well equipped with the required skills and knowledge for the TP test. After that he'll tell you to go on the testroute and he'll just watch you by tailing you. There's also a circuit test, either one might come first.

They will give you points according to your performance..so basically it's like a mini TP. This is by far the most expensive lesson because it's 1 to 1.

Wait.. think i read wrongly about your test question.

For bike TP there are two parts : Circuit, and then on road. In lesson 4, you'd have done all the circuit courses and passed those lessons already. 4 is a circuit assessment lesson where they award points based on performance like in actual TP..but only in circuit, so you can go up to 18 points. Lesson 7 will be like a mock TP, same thing as lesson 4, but with road assessment included.

In actual TP, you go circuit first, then out to road, then back in to the end point.
