Most people will use Dunlop TT900, or Bridgestone Battlax ...

The majority of SP riders have BT039 90/80 installed for the front, and 120/80 (more for stability) or 110/70 (more for pick-up/response) installed for the rear.

120/70 is specially for those like you, who bank every corner and bend you see ... Shhh ... Haha!

Not sure about Dunlop TT900 performance, but there are a lot of rumours going around that it doesn't grip though ...

hi guys! i'm sorta having some problems wif my sp here it goes:

i ride about twice a week and all is good when i have at least half a tank of petrol. however, once the fuel gauge goes below the quarter mark it's super hard to start the bike.

i have to use the choke, kickstart and throttle together about 10 11 times before i can ride because the bike will always run for 2 to 3 seconds afterwhich the engine dies off during the first few times.

at a quarter tank, after i manage to start the bike it feels extremely sluggish, the feeling u get when u're running out of fuel (have to throttle a lot to get the same amount of power)

i jus bought this sp not too long ago and have been having a lot of problems with the fuel consumption. i'm only getting 110km per tank now and this is after i complained to the bikeshop mechanic who adjusted the air fuel ratio thing (previously i was getting only 80km per tank)

the bike feels perfectly good when there's at least half a tank inside so i have no clue what is wrong and how to fix it? could you guys please give some advice! many thanks!

Try using a strong torchlight and shine it into the fuel tank. Look for loose particles (e.g. rust or other contaminants). Shake the fuel tank a bit, to see how bad the problem is.

The lower portion of the fuel strainer may be badly choked up with dirt, causing the flow of fuel to be affected. Surface this issue to your mechanic and get the fuel strainer checked / cleaned if necessary.

maybe ur mechanic adjust ur air to fuel mix too lean.. sso more petrol go into ur cylinder.. which wet ur plugs... and ur plugs cant ignite properly due to the wetness... maybe change ur plugs see how things works out... and maybe tune ur carb abit more to air ratio

ride safe play when theres no one..
