my mirrors do vibrate when im at expressway thou, gets me very annoyed, since it's already small and still vibrates at high speed :sian:

i guess the reason why the mirror vibrate that much is cause of the high RPM of the engine. Specially for 1 piston bike. 4 pistons bike should feel that bike cause the piston runs in series and therefore they countered each other rotating force of each piston. This is just my opinion...

Anyway this just FYI.... Read this in an article...

Caltex with Techron

They claimed to clean up engine by clearing clogs in fuel injections and removing carbon deposits on valves and piston crowns.

Shell with FMT

They claimed to reduce friction on places that engine oil can't reach...

i wonders too. but i guess V power with FMT are better cause they input additive that makes the petrol more oil lubriating. i still recommand caltex for 4 strokers and vpower to 2 strokers. they are top petrol in sg.... not to mention petronals that's in my....

stock mirrors wont vibrate, even if u are at 9000rpm.

anyway, they claim.... it's just a claim. i cant tell the difference between using v-power and 98. but i feel mobil 5000 has more power than mobil 8000. and Mobil Synergy F1 reduces the knocking at 5000rpm by really a lot...

well i guess it doesn't vibrate that much as compare to other side mirrors....

They claimed but maybe u would wan to try it on a 4 stroke and 4 piston bike. i felt the difference when quality of the petrol are changed. I guess they are targetting cars ba. not to forget, cars are their main customers... Sorry but i dun think the info are really suitable for this thread. It's just FYI. Eh, what's knocking in ur definition? the knocking i noe is in turbo charged system....

hmm, guys, me have with a problem with me bike, dropping of gears seems too drastic??? when i shift down a gear, a "KLAK" sound would be heard and it feels like its hitting something, esp from 2nd to 1st... any remedys anyone? :cheeky:

It is boring here in Singapore

Posted

it happens when u're going fast and u tap down a gear... try a bigger CC bike and u will feel it. or u can try down gear from 3 to 1 at 60km/hr. u will feel it even stronger. But pls remember.... I'm not responsible for anything.... :cheeky: To me there isn't a remedy to it. just try slowing down when tapping down gear....
