I've looked up the classified, however there is no supply to my demand at this moment.

 

In this case, I will probably look ard for a better "Chopping Board" for SP. .

 

In anyway, could you provide more knowledge as a reference for me, So in order to get a good deal out of it >> ?? ( haha, kanna "chop" also must be worth the "chopping" ) So at least I can save on the maintenance.. .

 

In additions to that, I've the intention to re-spray the 2nd hand bike and do some cleanning or wadever to at least make the look more "Chio" a bit.

NeVe+S, a respray can easily set u back by another 300.

No offence but i feel its not worth it since if this is ur first bike, unfortunately u will have a higher chance in e first few mths of having an accident/self skid/dropping of bike.

 

Anyway most impt is to look at e smoke of e exhaust see wat colour of e smoke to determine whether they is a need to change e piston ring, listen to e idling of e engine to hear whether e crankshaft is loose or whether there's irregular idling, check for leaking of 2T pump, coolant n gear oil from engine casket, fork alingment, forn rims n chasis whether they r dented, front n rear brake pumps working, leaking of front fork, condition of fork seals, creaking of rear suspension, whether valve motor working, electrical system whether they r working n look at e tyres chain sprock brake pads to see how much longer they can last n if possible n if u r more kiasu check e rectifier since they cost qte an amt.

i suspect that my coolant is leaking as everytime after parking for sometime , there would be a patch of coolant liquid leaking from my stand :giddy:

 

what can be done ?

eh guys ar.. i noticed that my headlights are abit on the higher side...

becos when i stop at the traffic light.. the beams are shining directly at the faces of the opposite lane's faces.. anyway to manually shift it down??

 

*just off topic - what is the nut which sits in a slot below ur headlight for??* :confused:

erm can u explain what u mean by irregular idling? because i think i have it.. i hear the engine like coughing sometimes.. but the rpm stays constant at 1.2k but the sound is jumpy.. how? is it considered irregular idling?

First isolate e prob to see where it is leaking from then can know what to do. Whether e tubing break or nv tighten properly. N u sure its coolant leak? Best is to use ur finger touch n smell it to confirm.

hey frens...i got prob, i juz changed dry cell batt for sp...but i still face the same prob...the batt gone weak...wat do u think i shuld change ?

Rectifier.

Use a voltmeter to check urself or go to a motoshop n ask them to check.

When u rev to 6 or 7k rpm, the volt meter should show above 13v. If nv means ur rectifier spoilt n is not charging e batt when u travelling hence batt gone weak.

 

If not it means u nv install e batt wrongly. U should let e dry cell stand for awhile (15-30 mins) after u pour in e electrolyte. After installing should go for a ride on e expressway for 15-30mins. Ur batt will b fully charged after that.

hey powiee i gt same problem as u...i went to the bike shop juz nw..and asked them y like tt...for mine, is 2T, they open up, and the wire or wtever broke...so muz repair..20+ dollars onli...

 

btw..guys..i gt another prob...wt makes the battery die or low batt faster? wtelse can be done ?

aiya..die..i tink the bike shop guy gona chng my batt lehx...i dun tink he is gona chng my rectifier...hopefully he changes my rectifier instead of my batt..pray hard..btw which one is cheaper? rectifier or batt?

after a closer look , i found out that it was 2T also . Donno y suddenly come back from JB then like that , lol , prolly i open valve too much suddenly , bike can't take the shock . haha ...:cheeky:
