dude. you dont need to run in a 2stroke piston and block that long. 3k is more than enough already ^^

 

just put ur name in the list, or just turn up. anything just sms anyone of the numbers you see listed there.

run in piston/block 5000km? like that i think need 3 months to run in.

 

Meet up tomorrow (Friday 04/08/06) at 2000hrs (8pm) at Kallang KFC to collect money for the BBQ/chalet. more details on the bbq/chalet can be found in our forum which you can find in my signature. go to the outing section, the thread is on sticky at the top.

i that time ruiing in. cannot take it sia 1000km.

i 650 km i give up liao. i open vavle already. hahaha.

yeah, new piston/block needs around 1k or so to run in. opening throttle after that is absolutely fine. thou its recommended to NOT open throttle for PROLONGED periods until 3k km!

 

if you change new piston rings only, just 'run in' 500kms and you'll be fine!

decided to get dinner from macs. on my way back, this taxi horned me because i was not close enough to the lorry infront of me so he couldn't switch to my lane cause there isn't enough space behind of me.

 

wtf? how close you expect me to be to a lorry? if it's a car or smth, at least i can see what's going on in front of the car. i can't see sh*t if it's a lorry.

 

so.... my left hand auto clutched in, and my right hand somehow turned the throttle twiced. and bearing in mind, my engine's cold. yeah baby. white smoke in the idiot's windscreeen. lol. kept flashing me. but who cares..

truthfully, there can be MANY causes of this.

 

is your bike set up for top speed? sprockets and all?

 

is your bike set up for better fuel consumption (FC)?

 

have you done your servicing recently?

 

 

 

remember, its a 150cc bike after all. of course with a pillion your pickup is very bad! weight plays a very big part in smaller bikes like ours!

I dun actually know how my bike is set up but i think is more for top end??

cos once the bik gets going i can feel it can run but dun reli run it cos i'm a safe rider.. haha.. seen other bikes think my sproket kinda big and my back tire is 120/80 if i not wrong also like a bit bigger.

Juz wondering if there's something wrong wif the fuel going in at the biting point.

 

My full tank without reserve is abt 230 pumping JB mobil F1.

how do you know that your bike has bad pick up? it might be the fastest bike in the whole of sg. my advise is.. 2b is still just 2b. u wan speed then go for a higher cc.

if your bike is set up for top end, you'll not get very good pickup. its a compromise. what do you want? 120/80 tire for the rear, well its heavy. also not very good pickup. stable in higher speed corners thou. actually by ur mileage, yeah i can see its not set up for pickup
