Yeah... get back my bike le... using my tyre soon... after chinese new yr ba... sian... i nid a second hand block which is gd in condition... maybe i will get a 1 hand to exchange and top mi some money will do... cuz my piston is another grade... which is bigger abit... that y i nid a second hand block... hehe... and gt a sound wan... like metal hit metal... sian... next time go outing u can listen to it... haha...

anyone has any idea how much does a rim cost? cuz my rim cracked due to the previous accident.. den when i ride.. the back will keep wooble.. scary sia..

you can contact SPChoo. he goes in quite regularly. :smile:

 

tires you can take what most of us are using: bt039ss 90/80 for the front, and bt039 110/70 for the rear (you don't have SS for the rear size). around $170 at HKL with installation.

 

i'm planning to try out bt090 120/60 on my next tire change. heard it's damn good to corner :lovestruck:

the reason you need to stick to that is because your bike needs a run in period. that means the 2t needs to run thru the parts to create a coating.

 

correct me if i am wrong pple. dun wanna mislead others.

but what will be the result if i dun follow? or if i follow for maybe 500km then i run at a speed of 120?

For those who still think that running the engine hard during break-in falls into the category of cruel and unusual punishment, there is one more argument for high power settings during engine break-in. The use of low power settings does not expand the piston rings enough, and a film of oil is left on the cylinder walls. The high temperatures in the combustion chamber will oxidize this oil film so that it creates a condition commonly known as glazing of the cylinder walls. When this happens, the ring break-in process stops, and excessive oil consumption frequently occurs. The bad news is that extensive glazing can only be corrected by removing the cylinders and rehoning the walls. This is expensive, and it is an expense that can be avoided by proper break in procedures.

 

oh talkin abt run in....anyone heard of this??

bike no need run in one..

 

after my major overhaul (engine bearing, conrod, clutch plates, housing), i whacked the first gear till the max by accident :D it was 8/8 the day after i collected my bike.
