Hi, does anybody know what is the market price now to get a SP on the road?

hmm.. i will say around machine price about 2k or less than tat for FS plate..(now SP r chepaer bcos many selling)

 

insurance depends on individual.. if 19 yrs old no experience rider will have to pay up to $900 for 1st party insurance.. (i heard, u can check with NTUC to confirm)

 

expect more than tat if u buy from bikeshop and pay installment..

 

suggest u to plan and survey first b4 getting 1..

for a sp, FR-FU plate. please do not pay more than 3k-3.5k OTR (on the road, includes insurance and agreement fees but not including loan interest) for it if you buy from bike shop. more than that, you're being chopped.

one more question, i nv try on other people sp up to a speed of 90 and higher so i dunno. Everytime i go 90 and above, my engine sound abit difference, erm like the sound become more hollow. is it suppose to be like that?

anyone wanna advice on fullface helmet.. i thinking getting 1 from garage.. 1 is OGK aeroblade 2 at $110 and another HJC AC-11 at $180..

 

i saw the OGK liao, condition ok ok nia.. not really new..

i think every sp although it is the same make, but if u ride different SPs, each have a different feel and character.... when u hit 90 and above, the valve is either opening or opened depends on the settings, sum set the valve to open earlier while stock sp should open between 6-7k rpm.... the change in sound also apply on my sp.... when i going to 100 to 110km/h.... the sound is different.

i would advise u to get a brand new full face helmet, personally i would not buy a second hand helmet.... after all u would want a virgin rite? wearing second hand helmets would feel uncomfortable and dirty in my opinion.... why not go down to motoworld and get a brand new HJC CL-14 helmet? it is only $150 now. though u cant compare it with an arai or shoei, i can confirm the product is well worth the price u pay for.... though it is not a high end helmet.... i believe it serves many times better den a normal open face helmet. i personally use a CL-14... used it to go kulai at a high speed.... and it feels comfy and great to use..... hope these helps.....
